We both know threads like this will never stop peeping their ugly faces both online & offline. What i feel is not right, is for a Muslim to post in a Christian section or otherwise for the primary purpose of promoting myopic opinions drawn from baseless conclusions that usually ignites harsh and derogatory comments.

@oritameta: When a speaker speaks lies against you, it is your right to hate the lies, if not confronting the speaker, at least if you have the will, speak to whoever listens what the truth is.

there is no place that Muslims have lied against any of the christian sages just to win a point. If Jesus is your God, we simply as muslims tell you to look in your Bible that he said he has a God. That God of Jesus must be higher than Jesus.

We will not say a thing that you as a christian have not said. We simply ask you to take a second look at your own book, and give what you said its proper meaning, and not just a gloss over.

Christians do not do the same for muslims. They twist Islam to fit their own agenda.

Dr. Mark Gabriel who left Islam is a very good example. The guy was not really a religious person anyway. It is no surprise after I googled his life that he left islam. He was raised by a christian as a child and his parents felt that he was almost gone the reason they sent him to Al Ahzar. Typical of egyptian saying to give what is not complete to Allah. Typical of christians to seize on the least valued material raising it up as if it matters.

I have met African Nun, Caribbean Pastor who both of them reverted to Islam. I met a Ghanaian army officer who came into Islam in Italy on some official visit. Reverts are a dime a dozen in western countries.

To show me Dr. Mark as a symbol of success of christianity is dishonesty. Not all who memorize Quran are muslims. Not all Arabs are muslims. And not all arab muslim teachers are good muslims, anyhow. Islam is not a religion measure on the back of any man. 1 Dr.Mark lost, a 1000 Shelkh Maustapha is gained into Islam.

From you name, I can deduce you're certainly a Nigerian and the last time i checked our mother tongue is no where close to Arabic. But my dear friend, I lived almost a year and half once in an Islamic country where their core language is Arabic, the very language the Quran is written in. With that experience, i find it rib cracking when I meet any Muslim who did "Wolimo" yet still has to wait on the interpretation of each line in the Quran.

Its was like when we recited french in primary school. we could sing a whole song in french and yet have no understanding of what each line meant. Does that makes me French? Just so you know, Arab Muslims who have a prefect understanding of the Quran will never argue with a Christian. They are too wise and know its to their own detriment. Their deep hatred for Israel and United States though, they will never hide. Its this deep hatred they have for the Western world that makes most of them, who have no understanding of Islam, willingly to blow themselves up.

Are you telling me that when its a muslim that point out things in the Bible, its legitimate but when a Christian points out things in the Quran, its blasphemy and such Christian ought to die? What common sense lies in such ideology? If a Christian should start pulling a sword, as you guys do each time a muslim points out erroneously from the Bible, do you think there will be one day light of peace.

I stated before that I think it would be best for Muslims to post in the Islam for Muslims board and Christians to do likewise, but you two seem to not want to say anything about that. Is there any fun in digging through a board of whose faith you do not belief in for the sole purpose of heating things up?

i google dr. mark to know if what he was portrayed is what he was. he wasnt since he had christian influence as a child and his parent suspected him, and his ph. d. was in christianity in usa, after he had converted. when he migrated to the usa, in 1990, i remember the climate of the 1990s usa. i'm a little older than him and i know when i was at the age he was in 1990, i had a tumultuous things happening in my life, too and only by the Mercy of Allah that i survived it as a muslim. and i am a nigerian with a christian mother at that.

i go to my Books all the time, the reason i am secure and able to discuss your religion with you, by the Mercy of Allah on me. if you notice, i do not contribute or respond to all the christian threads. but i just cant stand it when i read an out right lie and not at least register my disagreement, if i can. on the NL, i can Alhamdulillah.

Off course you can. But then again, would you run into a church to correct a pastor preaching to the congregation all because you overheard from the speakers those things you perceive to be outright lie? What would become of a person that runs into a mosque during a friday prayer day, distributing flyers telling every Muslim therein that what they are doing is idol worship? Because you have vegetables in your diet does not give you a right to go to a forum dedicated to vegetarians, telling them how tasteful red meat is. It doesn't just work that way.

The primary purpose of a boundary is to draw a line at some point. Boundaries are applicable to everyone in every area of life.

Just like i told my good NL colleague @LagosShia; Topics like one that started this thread, posted in a board not meant for Muslims is a direct insult to Christianity and time and time as proven over time that the only kind of scars such things leave behind is more bitterness and eventual strike back. Unfortunately, Christians are able to stomach your insults but most Muslims seem not to have that gene in them. I do not mean for that as a personal insult to you but for the things that I have heard, seen and read about.

As regards Dr. Mark. I was in no way complaining but pointing two things out to you. One, told you I was not the one who brought up the issue of Dr. Mark, since i do not know who the man is. 2, Telling you how glad I was that a Muslim agrees Google is dependable as a research tool.

^^^^^^ If a person were to walk in to Jumuah, distributing fliers that Muslim worships an idol, if everyone would be like me, after the Jumuah prayers, I will like him to show us where the idol is. Was it not the muslims who demolished the giant Buhhda in Kabul, Afghanistan?

When you use any example, get something possibly believable, not an obvious thing like Muslims loving an idol! When you say God our mutual Creator has a child, shouldnt someone ask you who was His wife? Its a better example for intelligent argument than your idol presentation against Islam.
