6 human behaviors animal exhibit that are not know to us.

Yeah, animals and pets love music, they even dance to songs. They eat, they poo, they wee, they have sex, they procreate and they die. Less I forget, they sleep, but do you know they dream too?

Since the beginning of time, animals have been seen to exhibit some human behaviours that show how closely related they are to human, so no big deal. But there are countless characteristics animals share with man that are unknown.

Thanks to science, animals of divers sorts have been found to share human traits that are unnoticed to human.

Let's dig in:

1. Dogs Dream.

Like humans, dogs and rats are beloved to have dreams and possible night mares when asleep.

According to a published research on psychologytoday.com by Dr. Stanley Coren, dogs and rats share the same brain structure as humans.

Coren writes: "At the structural level, the brains of dogs are similar to those of humans. Also, during sleep, the brain wave patterns of dogs are similar to that of humans and go through the same stages of electrical activity observed in humans, all of which are consistent with the idea that dogs are dreaming."

I bet they dream about chasing down rats for a meal.

2. Cows Have Different Accents

Moo....

Really, how can that be different from another moo..? Oh Wait, scientists say they are.

According to a 2006 report from the BBC, John Wells, Professor of Phonetics at the University of London, stated that cows have 'regional accents' like humans. He noted that cows from different herds have different moos.

Yep, now learn a cow language to differentiate their moos.

3. Penguins Give Engagement Rings

Male Penguin: Will you marry me?

Lady Penguin: Oh my God, he just proposed to me!!

According to a scientific documents posted on Oceana.org, just like human give proposal rings with the big stone on it, male penguins also give their partners the smoothest rock around the shoreline as a symbol of love during courtship. If she accept, they start building a layer nest (home) together.

How sweet!
