Congratulations in advance. If by now you haven't registered your wife, don't border because it usually takes between 30 days and 60 days to be fully enrolled from the day you register. So, even if you register today, it will not be out before your wife put to bed.

Also, you will not enjoy the benefits because you have done everything before now. It is usually better to register at the early stage of pregnancy because that will save you a lot.

However, make sure you ensure them once after the child birth. Though the child must be up to 3 months before registering him or her.

I got married last year and my wife is now pregnant. I have been trying to get my wife under my NHIS for the antenatal and subsequent childbirth and this has been impossible. My wife is close to delivery as our expected date of delivery is in June, 2020. The NHIS people have been unable to register anyone claiming their servers are down since December last year.

I have had to travel from Kaduna to their Abuja office twice and have met the same excuse on both ocations.

How do I get my wife under my NHIS as I don't think it's fair for me not to enjoy what they are charging me for. How do I go about solving this issue before my baby is born.
