A country that pays her healthcare workers N5,000 as hazard allowance and pays lawmakers N1.2million as newspaper allowance will soon learn the bitter consequences of deliberate stupidity
Thats a very dumb comparison. Do you think you can compensate a man enough for saving lives? By comparing the job of a politician and a doctor you are underminig their knowledge and bringing them to the level of people who are known globally to only talk and do little else.
If you give that as a reason why doctors dont do their jobs then that's also a very silly excuse because Niggeria is not the only country where doctors are underpaid. With the way I see the doctors here and their attitude, even if you pay them 1 million a day they wont do the job because their reason for doing the job was to get quick money

That money will enter voicemail, they should have planned how they will share the money themselves to people who need them instead of giving the cbn

Good gesture. however more importantly, when it's time to pay the workers salary, pls also do the same. especially your workers whose salary can not be said to be a living wage.

We can't manufacture ventilators....but for welder nd carpenters...its an emergency...nd they can't com out nd make like 1000 beds...nd test kits

They can make 1,000 beds! The problem with we Africans is that we always try to go for easy fix. The truth is, we may not even find any where to buy beds.

On the ventilators, conventional equipments manufacturers are already overwhelmed. In situations like that, countries stop imports.

Innoson said he can make ventilators. Let's give him that benefit of doubt. Let's support him in his bid to make them. The government should provide men and material.

OBO and his father are bunch of noise makers. They only give for popularity or political gains like they did to support the dancing senators for Osun Governorship seat.

Nice one. But it would have made more sense if those doing the donations buy medical equipments/facilities and donate like Dr Paul Enenche of Dunamis church, Daddy G.O and that Chinese man did, cos we all know that those at the top must embezzle part of the fund raised by good and concerned Nigerians.

How much of these monetary donations will actually be used to fight the corona virus in Nigeria. Will it be used to pay workers and volunteers also? Cos Nigeria is good at mismanagement.

That's why some of us here said they should have used the money to buy equipments instead of donating cash to our irresponsible government.

They are always flaunting money. All I asked is them to channel some of those funds into helping us defeat the pandemic. If I had their amount of money, I would do what I'm asking them to do too. And, yeah, I have been helping in my own little way around me. Have you?

this is entitlement mentality. it does not belong to you. As you and them no be the same stop criticizing them from thinking / doing differently. 1. they committed no crime 2. the committed no sin. how have you helped? me and you no dey the same shithole level.
