Hi guys, I need advise from the experience masters in the house, I am a computer science student but I learn tailoring as my handskill, the truth is I am an IT person in fact I have passion for anything that involves IT or computer which was the main reason I went for computer science, but to be honest one needs to make to earn respect both in the family and society because we all know how Nigerians are, I wanted to go for programming but I got discouraged when I realized alot of people are into it so I switched to computer networking and I am wondering if I can make healthy money from it. Thank you

You can make money from any skill. You said you’re into tailoring, are you not making money from it? The more skills you possess the better rounded you are when it comes to employment.

I have a brother who hits the gym frequently and loves doing chores around the house. One day a stranger suggested he joined a ragtag group of labourers who were running a construction project. He entered as a lower paid unskilled worker. A year later my brother has risen in the skill and makes not much but at least comfortable enough wages that he doesn’t ask for financial help from our parents. His fit body raised his employment potential.
