The NCDC chairman and the Lagos State Commissioner for health appeared on TV stations at different times condemned coronavirus testing kits. They said laboratory test is more reliable with almost 100 % accuracy. That the testing kits success rate is just 30% which is capable of making the situation more complicated.

Professor Akin Abayomi said on Arise TV that if coronavirus negative is tested positive with the testing kit, he will be admitted alongside the positives and get infected also if positive is tested negative, he will go home and infect others.
