No issues whatsoever. HDMI works great and video quality on LCD at 720p is just unbelievable. Ovi store is great with new Apps Everyday. Couldn't have asked for more in a phone (Sorry Device)

Re: About Nokia N8 by spacyzuma(m): 1:03pm On Jan 14, 2011
N900 is between 69k - 75k.

I really wanna get the N8, but 80k is too high for me. I can pay 50k for a 2nd hand version.

I have never used any phone brand other than Nokia. I waited for so long to have this phone and was so happy when i got the phone mid November. The pictures are innocently clear, the memory will always want you to save more but you may need to have a rethink before buying this phone.

After a month of purchase, December 18 to be precise my girlfriend mistakenly spilled wine on the phone (without my knowledge). So when i woke up the next day being a sunday, my phone was not coming up. The next thing i would have done if it were to be any other phone is to probably remove the battery and restart, but being N8, you can't do anything (as u all know the phone is screwed up, nothing can be removed except your sim or memory card). I tried doing a forece-reset (pressing Camera+menu+volume down keys all together) nothing happened. On monday 20th Dec, i was at Nokia Care Shop and was received like a king. They asked me to check back after the festive period, and true to their words got a call first week of january to come collect my phone, Lo and behold i was told my phone is damaged beyond economic repairs. I succeded in escalating the problem to Nokia - middle east, because the oversee africa but all i got was a sorry, nothing can be done.
The moral of my story is that N8 is not just another Express Music or N97 (If water touch am, u r on your own). The phone is made such that the sreen can't be seperated from the board (everythin is together).
As i am writing this piece, i have a DEAD N8, looking right at me with nothing to be done to revive it.
For those who are still enjoying their phones, i swear u can only be limited by yourself.

Men, me I don't know oh, all these high end phones with just one small wahala, he don go be dat, so much money invested, that's a $600 phone gone, chei,

I have been using my nokia 1208 for over 3years now, and I take it to everywhere, including water area, same thing with the previous phone which is Nokia 2600, a great phone that served me well for at least 3 years too, in 2007, I wanted to form big boy, I had like 2 iphones, I got it 2 months after it was released, and was one of the very first people following the unlocking process, until when one boy unlocked it, in 2008 used it anyway, what happened, d thing dropped then it had stroke, one side will slide, and another wont work, over 150k done enter water, I just jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, since then, I stick with the budget priced phones, the same cheap one that drop all the time on the floor.

If I can get a Nokia rugged phone that's high end, I will consider upgrading cos people don too yab me on top this phone, am thinking one of those Gold Gucci Sirocco Nokia 8800 i see on ebay, what do you guys think?
