As part of effort to support the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board(JAMB) has donated three(3) ventilators to University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada and the Bwari General Hospital.

The decision of the Board to donate the ventilator is to ensure that the Federal Government preemptive measures yield positive results.

This was disclosed by the Board’s Head of Public Affairs, Fabian Benjamin, in a statement, he said, “the board’s decision to donate the ventilators which cost several millions is to strategically place these Hospitals in good state to give necessary treatment to COVID-19 patients whether in Bwari or any other part of Abuja”.

According to Benjamin, the Board within its limit, will continue to support the Government in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, in other to protect its teeming candidates who are the hopes of tomorrow.

Furthermore, the Board thank, individuals, cooperate body’s and the government for their donation towards the fight against COVID-19, and urged all prospective tertiary institutions intakes, students, parents and, indeed, the entire country to observe government order by abiding by all instructions aimed at fighting the spread of the pandemic.
