It’s with so much pain i write this this morning.
A lady (Rebecca Benjamin) who was coming back from medical check up yesterday evening around 9pm boarded a tricycle.

All of a sudden, a police Hulu’s truck from morning where hit the tricycle into the gutter and ran away. It happened right before our eyes. This happened at Ijegun rd of ikotun. The police men were on parade from Isheri Oshun police station, Area M Lagos.

We quickly rushed her to the hospital, her legs were almost broken, her flesh were gone. I couldn’t stand the pains she would have gone through.

We rushed her to the nearby hospital.
Then we went to the police station only for the DPO to threaten to arrest us and he walked out of us. We tried getting his attention but he kept shouting and said he’ll put us in the cell.

Pls I don’t know who can help to get this to the right authority.

I think the mod should help put this on FP
They can contact Mr David on 07033052295 he’s currently with the lady at the hospital

Pls admin help push this to FP so that it can get the right attention.

Police! That's why they don't end well

This country matter taya person oo, I try to caution people calling Nigeria a zoo but what kind of reckless act are our force displaying everyday? From Army, Police, Custom and co, Can't they be cautioned or call to order by their superiors, Must innocent people keep suffering from their foolish act. Who exactly is the captain of this ship(Nigeria). Everyone is just misbehaving.

Things will never remain the same again for her ...

I experienced something similar about a year ago

I was on a bike on my way home, police were coming from opposite direction taking one way can you believe he used his van to push us off the road making both the bike man and I to fall.i was even telling the police man can't you see your van almost caused an accident and instead of him to apologize he pointed a gun at me, something in me just said apologize, you don't argue with a psycho with gun


On top my right I still apologized and he left but I went home bitter that night and cursed him.. he will not end well


I remember another time I was in school,I had a friend,seyi is her name, for a long time I didn't know her father was a police man.honestly I hate nigerian police, everyone in our house shares the same feeling.anyway during the holidays in school she decided to pay me a visit and so my mom came out of the room and met us at the dinning table eating.she then asked what does your dad do,she said he's a police man.immediately I lost my appetite , dropped my fork,my mom's countenance changed from friendly disposition to that of irritation and anger,my younger brother was in his room sleeping then

She noticed the immediate change in everyone's reaction so she started feeling uncomfortable and so my mom didn't even mince words,oya my dear come and start going, you have played with us enough


That was the last day we ever spoke.till I graduated from school she avoids me seriously

Have you contacted her family? Like her husband. I think her husband's number should be the one up there not just anybody. It will give the story more credibility incase of those who wants to help.

Why wasting time, simply go to the police headquarter or Army barracks, apart from this, nothing can be done to get justice.

Op, in fact, you have done your best and God will reward you and also heal the victim. For the police that did this, they will get their reward and that will be a big disaster on each and everyone of them. They should have stopped to help the victim. I pray mods move this to front page.
