As a young man growing up, you can recall times you were told not to "follow women" either by your parents or the elderly people around you. Surprisingly, we've grown to be adults and we keep hearing the same statement.

The phrase "don't follow women" obviously has different meanings associated with it. To some, it means staying away completely from women while still struggling to make a living. To others, it is just a way of saying "thread with caution". Meaning you don't have to completely avoid women but try as much as possible to be careful when dealing with them(women).
