This issue has been a major concern to me over the last few weeks.

I would use PHEDC (PORT HARCOURT) as case study

I've been privileged to stay in two different locations of close proximity. One at eliozu and the other at Rumuodara

I noticed that the first always has light if possible I would say they have light at least 23hrs a day. The other barely has light because I'm currently staying here I can testify they bring light for only 30minutes a day. And it's heart breaking. If you are to consider it the later has companies, schools and also residential areas within its proximity while the former has just residential areas with little or no offices there.

I would love to know, do nepa do this on purpose? Or do the people staying at eliozu bribe Nepa office? Or is there something we did Nepa that they don't like?

Is light distribution truly as they wish or if I would say by favour? Or do they have ways of checking to see if light is shared equally among the sectors?

I remember when one top boss of PHCN was living in our neighborhood, we enjoyed constant supply compare to other areas in our environment.... Also, when the former deputy of Governor of Lagos state was living close to my friend house, they enjoyed 24hours supply of Light.

We have not had light for 3 months now in a part of Ikotun, Lagos. PHCN Ikeja took away our transformer and told us to bring 2 million before they give it back.

Yes. I don’t see the reason why they can’t rectify the issue of evenly distribution even though some areas pay low bills. You can’t try such in Europe

Bro...see eeh, those areas with Hotels,Big firms and churches do get light pass the other sides with less structures that attracts people within that region.

I think that's their reason for providing lights more in a particular region than the other.
