So if God blesses unbelievers who don’t pay tithe, how much more His sons. The New Testament encourages us to give cheerfully and generously, and without compulsion.

The 20k is barely enough for that neighbor or anyone to survive on during this unprecedented times. It makes no sense that if that neighbor still 'pays' 2k to his pastor and then turns around after a week to seek for financial assistance from others.

And always know that tithing is a personal thing.

Pay if you believe. Don't pay if you don't believe because that's even dangerous.
I'm a pastor and I hardly talk about tithe .
Our God is not hungry.

Yes. You must give to receive. Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

You sow a seed to reap an harvest.

Abraham was rich before he paid tithe.
Abraham paid tithe once according to the Bible.
Abraham did not give his own belongings such as cattle, sheep etc as tithe.
He gave out his plunder from war.

Our God is not hungry yet most pastor even in my church force members to pay. Lets leave this thing. Our God is never hungry and will never force anyone to pay tithe. It is pastors that are greedy and hungry that are all out for it. Tithing is on ones believe.
