Should the death of Nigerian Politicians be celebrated ? by Mcowubaba: 8:40am On Apr 18, 2020
I woke up early this morning to hear the news of the passing of a famous Nigerian politician, and as I read through comments in different media platforms, I observed mixed reaction, but generally happy and celebratory signals were given by most comments.

Let me diverge a little bit, as this point is crucial to the rest of the topic. Nigeria is a very religious country, with most of the populace either of the Muslim, Christian or Traditional faith believes, and none of this religion support wishing death or celebrating the death of a friend, an enemy or anyone.
Hence, I can understand the sympathetic comments left by some, like "Oh don't judge, we all shall die" "RIP, never wish anyone death, it could be your mom or father tomorrow"

Furthermore, Nigeria is also divided over ethnic, political lines and affiliations, and comments and reactions are also influenced depending on the stratum you are from or support.

Now back to the topic, thinking logically and rationally without any religious delusions, ethnic, political affiliation or any of the aforementioned factors, Nigerians need to understand that we have one of the most useless, wicked and heartless leaders in the world. Nigerian political class have contributed directly or indirectly to the death, depression, frustration and illness of millions of Nigerians

They embezzle funds for any given project, from Hospitals, schools, roads, Job creation, electricity, water etc. Nigeria has been living in dark ages since we got our Independence, millions are now hopeless, extremely hungry, thinking of committing suicide, or engaging in other nefarious activities, all this is as a result of the massive incompetence of our so-called political class.

A country where SARS and other security agencies will shoot and kill unarmed citizens with barely any repercussions
A country where morbidly obese politicians share kerosene during election, owe salaries for months, and refuse to pay pensioners (who have worked over 30-40 years of their lives)
A country where politicians send their children and family members to foreign schools, hospitals and vacation spots
A country where appointments and budgets are approved based on religious and tribal sentiments
I can go on and on with the list .......

The problem is that, most or some of us still even support this miscreants and hoodlums called Nigerian politicians, and as the saying goes "leaders are the reflection of a society"
Nigerian politicians are NOT private citizens, the live off our taxes and resources, and should be held accountable even in DEATH
They are wicked, useless and heartless people, and deserve every bad thing on this earth and even more punishment if there is an after life
Yes, we all will die at one point in life, our parents (the ones still alive) will die, or friends will die, I will also die one day, and I invite people to celebrate my death if the feel I caused a lot of problems for millions of people.

I guess you all know the answer to my topic, YES YES YES YES
I am excited, best news I have heard today, hopefully more to come cheesy cheesy cheesy grin
All the delusional religious folks, coming to spur some fake rhetoric, kindly seek enlightenment for once in your delusional life.

Peace cool cool

YES!!
It's called celebration of life for a reason. People who like him will celebrate his good life. While those who hate him for justifiable reasons will also celebrate.
CELEBRATE na CELEBRATE. Whether na for or against, the dead stay dumb and will remain lonely at death.

CHOOSE TODAY HOW YOU WISH TO BE CELEBRATED BY BEING FAIR TO ALL WHILE ALIVE.

Bleep IT!!!

Even when the wicked kings died in the Bible people rejoiced so why not when Abba Kyari died. GOD forgive me I feel no sympathy for any Nigerian politicians because they show the citizens no sympathy.my wish is that Corona will continue to take them out one after the other. And to the idiots saying why are some people happy and very sure your parent danced when Abacha died so how is this different.

Nigerians are hungry.......

You lock them down without palliative of any form despite their Outcry......

Nigerians are not in a good mood to celebrate even their birthdays because of Hunger and you expect them not to jubilate over the death of a man that played a key role in inflicting hunger and hardship on them??
