I am a guy... And I have my reasons... It might be causing issues to governing bodies or anywhere u submit ur credentials to... Sure, u will support with change of name thingy but if you can do it after graduation, do it after graduation

As For Op, Why do you feel change of name will affect you before or after graduation?

Before I give you my best answer, I need to know the reason for the change of name, also is the name change complete or partial ?

Are you male or female? Change of name has no side effect strito senso. If you a male I will advise you change your name before graduation so it reflect on your certificate once and for all, if you female I will advise same although if you female you may still have to change your name later on.

MODIFIED: A copy of the newspaper publication indicating the change of name send a copy to the office of the registrar copy the office of the Dean of student affairs and if there is any other office you may be required to copy such as the Dean of your faculty, copy the offices as well this way there will be ZERO ish in processing your certificate due to any inconsistency as regard name in your O'level certificate.Its best you start a new chapter of your life (with the change of name ) with your certificate bearing such name n this will also be recorded in your NYSC discharge certificate

Let it be after your graduation. Since u must have used same name on your WAEC and probably NECO. Now your Bsc. Plss use same name for your NYSC.

After all this, then do a change of name.

Do it before graduation, ensure you give your school the notification and publication so that it is effected on your certificate!!!

I prefer after so as not to leave questions before the results are commuted as several other results bear same name used for entry

Change before you graduate so your certificate will carry your new name. That's the best since that's the name you want to use for the rest of your life. Just make sure you do newspaper publication

After nysc is better

After graduation is d best dear to avoid missing script (results) talking from experience.
