STRETCH MARKS. Stretch marks are thin purple lines that fade into silvery streaks appearing usually on hips, breasts, buttocks or stomach when skin is over-stretched as in pregnancy. Women who in pregnancy put on most weight acquire most stretch marks. Their presence is associated with lack of protein, Vitamin B6 and Zinc, elements essential for production of sound collagen tissue.

Alternatives. To give high level elasticity. Comfrey tea, Irish Moss, Iceland Moss, Fenugreek seeds.

Topical. Massage with Almond oil or Cocoa Butter to tone connective tissue and stimulate circulation. Follow with Vitamin E cream. After pregnancy: Aloe Vera gel or cream.
