Abagworo: Efik did not originate from Arochukwu, the Aro people dislodged them from a portion of their territory. Read their history as well. |

FACE: We need not argue about it but pay a visit to Calabar museum and read up their history.That they were displaced might be a later addition but it was clearly stated that the Aro were mix of Ejagham and Igbo while some of them migrated southwards via Aba to found many Efik and Igbo settlements.Until this day some Efik people distinguish themselves as Aros. |
