Religion is not bad initself, but it's the way that it is used that makes it good/bad for a people or society, but in Nigeria Religion has become bad and is the core root of all our social and personal problems we face as Nigerians and as Africans at large, but the case of Nigeria's Religions and Religious Institutions is very shameful and criminal. Especially the Nigerian Churches. The Late Legendary Afrobeat Icon Fela, may his soul Rest In Peace, mentioned this many times in his musicals, where he stated in one such songs and I Quote "Pastors House na eemdey fine Pass" and he ended the verse with "but dem dey bad bad things"

My fellow Nigerians we all know Fela and his struggle to educate the masses on the values and rights we should have and it was on this mission of his that his mother lost her life in this struggle not forgetting she is the first woman to drive a car in Nigeria. So Whether you love him or hate him he was a welltravelled and experienced man and as it is proving today he was right about the things he said about Nigeria's religious Institutions and leaders

But Coronavirus has fully exposed Pastors and Churches in Nigeria Fully, because Nigerian Pastors ranging from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Prophet TB joshua, Pastor Adeboye, Pastor Kumuyi, Margaret Idahosa(Bishop) Apostle suleiman, Pastor Ayo,Pastor Oyedepo just to mention but to fear have all been healing all sorts of people from sickness of all kind with their holy water and anointed oil that cost exorbitant prices, they have on record on video healed people of AIDS, TB, Cancer etc and even at times raise people from the dead like Pastor Lazarus Mouka, but since the advent of Coronavirus these Faith healers have not healed one person of Coronavirus? This is bemusing and very disgraceful because if the God you are claiming to serve can heal all sickness and you have said this on record many times over why is that same God not able to heal people of Coronavirus either through your prayer aids of Holy water and annointing oil? Unless you guys are fraudsters deceiving and misleading Nigerians with your fake miracles and discriminating gospels. But now you all have been exposed. No more Tithes No more offerings, but even after the Lockdown is lifted you guys will still want to continue deceiving people and using the Bible to paint a Revelations Themed Armageddon message of doom and the emergence of the antichrist. But before you decide to do this you Pastors should ask yourselves one Important question, Am I ready to lay down my Life and die for Christ in Nigeria? Thank you for your time.

Yes! Divine healing happens&I've seen many but this shouldn't be d premise upon which one's faith should be built.

Whatever happens to man &it's d will of God to help him in a particular way, so be it bt we can't isolate ourselves from d perfect will of God &keep proclaiming Christ.

Most church owners in Nigeria don't even preach&uphold holy living to d core; those who do go behind to work against it for material gains, which contradicts whatever they claim to stand for.

This is why individuals should learn to study the Bible on their own with the help of d Holy Spirit, for proper interpretation and guide. But who will teach them to do so when the church founders know that gullible followership will be reduced if d truth of d Word is revealed to ppl.

Moreso, humans prefer falsehood to d truth; many of d ppl who are being deceived av at one time or d other met with d undiluted truth but they'll tell u it's hard to follow. So-called Christians these days want to tread on d wide road to heaven which isn't possible & this has further led them into d hands of deceivers.

The truth remains d truth though and time will tell Malachi 3:18

This is a global pandemic and only God knows why this is happening and how he will take it away.
Doesn't it amuse you that no one in the world
Not pastors

Not scientists
Not idol worshippers saw this coming?

OP how will those pastors u mentioned come into the situation when there are no more church gatherings. all they can do is to pray for this pandemic to end.
will d government allow them to lay hands on the sick
remember they don't also have to go about healing people without teaching then to build of their faith

Be careful OP hence u endanger ur life. it's better to keep quiet and allow God do his job in choosing those dat truly serve him while u face ur own relationship with God

yes I agree with you this affects all Pastors all over the world as like you have highlighted no Pastor even from abroad has been able to cure anyone of this disease, so what does this mean? It's either they are also fake like their Nigerian prodigies or they are actors.

Thank you very much brother for your Warning and I will take heed to it, but as regards the issue I raised in my post about this clergymen being unable to cure Coronavirus is not coming from a place of judgement but from a place of Observation and Learning so far what these so called men of God have taught me is that they only perform select miracles and that they have the sicknesses they can heal and the ones they can't heal, and it's very unfortunate because in a situation where one of these pastors heal someone of AIDS but only for the person to contract Coronavirus and dies because after going back to the same place that cured him/her of an incurable disease like AIDS are unable to cure him/her of Coronavirus. Something will be seen as not right by the person before he or she dies of Coronavirus, this is hypothetical but is very feasible. So my brother all I am trying to say is that these people have proved themselves before capable of healing people of incurable diseases with their Prayer tools, so what is happening now with Coronavirus ? And The Churches had to be closed because they are not seen as important or essential at the end of the day.

Why are you nagging around like one that has forgotten to sniff his faeces? The people that pay their offerings and tithes aren't complaining so what are you talking about?

Okay lemme say nobody in the church should give offering, now tell me who's gonna buy instruments, chairs, speakers, air conditioner? who's gonna buy microphone? do you think before spewing nonsense?

The security you see safeguarding the church 24/7, ain't they humans with family that deserve something to eat? Do you mean that pastors should come to church to preach, buy instruments, chairs,etc... be the security of the church and go back home and repeat same everyday?
you're pathetic...

The same would have been said of AIDS wen it was still a kind of new disease, but now people are being healed of AIDS, The word of God is no respecter of the name of any disease,
ok now a question for u
How exactly do u want these pastors to heal Corona virus patients?
Or should they just stay in their room and proclaim healing to all Corona patients?
Am not defending any pastor in particular, but I have seen miracles with my own eyes, miracle experience no one can dispute or take away from me.
I was once a person doubting the originality of these healings until I saw one myself, I broke out in tears and asked God to forgive my unbelief
.As I said before, if u are a Christian, try to stay away from raising issues that will make people doubt the potency of God's power, Anybody who after reading ur article or hearing from u got discouraged from his faith in Christ and dies has his blood on ur hands.

Now assume u are a Christian waivering in ur faith, go through wat u wrote, will it encourage u or discourage u?

If you are not a liar, name one person you know with proofs that has been healed of HIV by a pastor. Not stage actors in your church. People that you actually know and can verify. lol. You are healing HIV yet there are celebrities all over the world have HIV and you have not healed them yet. You are healing the blind yet there are verified blind celebrities in Nigeria like Cobhams but you have been unable to heal them. You are healing the lame yet Yinka Ayefele is still lame. Why are you people shameless liars?
All your "healing" and claims of healing are unverified stories by stage actors. Bring proof. This is the age of Facebook and social media. There must be proof of the people you heal before they got healed. Liars. lol

God only exists in places science have not yet understood.
Pastors also exist to reap in places where Ignorance and superstitions are the order of the day.
Pastors cannot prosper in places where people are enlightened and knowledgeable.
In those places, pastors will only be used by the knowledgeable to again, reap from the Ignorance of the Ignorant!!!
