What have we done to deserve this reckless action?? It will probably be used for recurrent expenditures while they have sky high salaries... The future belongs to the youth and they must rise to fight this barbaric plundering of our Commonwealth.

This present finance minister (whats-her-name) is a complete dofus. She knows nothing.

Always borrowing left right and center.

We are in a deep shit in this country. They are discussing this secretly and thinking of how much lies they will tell us thru the national assembly and media 5o dumb us down to accept the loan .

They will borrow about $3.4 B and about $2.9B will be looted and stolen and the rest will go to service debt and recurrent expenditures.

Nothing for education or health or capital expenditures to develop the human and natural resources for the future.

While they the politicians have stolen the loan , In order to pay back the loan.. the will increase the VAT, taxes, import duties , and other charges while dumbing down the youths with less education, inefficient healthcare systems, poor road network, poor, soul tramautising economic conditions to distract us from confronting them.

Youths need to open your eyes and see beyond your nose . A word to the wise.

A dark future portends to our great nation...

Governance is a social contract between the governors and governed.. government and its citizens . citizens come together to donate their inalienable right (to defend, provide and secure their future ) to the common pool and then mandate government to provide, defend and secure them the people.

If the government decides to increase their salary at the expense of the people, or steal from the common wealth to deprive the people of good health care, sound education, good economy etc or make bad policies to hurt the people ( like pandemic lockdown without compensation or palliative) ability to defend, provide and secure... Then government has broken the social contract and the other party, the citizens ( like the Roman people against Tarquin the Proud or the French against the Louis XVI or the commoners against the Nicolas II) have their God given right to repudiate the voiding of the contract.
The Government is for the people and owned by the citizens and exist solely as a tool to implement the wishes of the people and if the government ,the tool , misbehaves, the people will throw the tool away.

Life is short, ugly, solitary ,poor , nasty and brutish , so says Thomas Hobbes...so we form government to organise life and society.. and if government is ineffective and corrupt and Hobbesian reality may prevails as it is now , then why have one "supposed" Master when we all can be terrible Kings!!!!

With all these borrowing here & there, hope Nigeria will not be re-colonized when they are unable to pay back.

Majority of the youths only care about instant gratification. They don't give a damn whether some folks up there are mortgaging their future.
