8 Youth Corps Members posted to Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State recently held a sensitization program on the novel Corona Virus "COVID-19" at Oba-Ile, Akure under the aegis of NYSC/Oba-Ile Community Development Service Group.
As part of activities to sensitize people about Corona Virus, the group provided about 400 face-masks to indigent members of its host community in Oba-Ile, who are the most vulnerable individuals to this deadly virus.
The masks were aimed at complementing the efforts of several stakeholders involved in curtailing the spread of the aforementioned virus, as wearing of face-masks will soon be robustly enforced as a critical public health measure to reduce person-person transmission.
