Relaxing lockdown in Abuja, Lagos and Ogun is the most useless decision any government can make in time like this.

This decision was taken as if our leaders have X-Ray vision to know when the virus attacks.
No matter how hard you look, you can’t see germs with your eyes.

It shows that the FG don't know what Virus we are dealing with.

For me, if it’s public health versus the economy, the only choice is public health.

The only case in which the benefits of lifting the economy-chilling COVID-19 restrictions outweigh the costs in lost lives would be if the epidemiologists are lying to us about people dying.

I hope we do not regret taking this decision.

Because this vicious virus exercises no discretion in choosing its prey (whether hungry or angry; rich or poor; old or young; vulnerable or invulnerable; sickly or healthy), I am echoing this piece of advice to our leaders to provide palliatives to her citizens to stop the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus instead of relaxing the lockdown.

To my fellow Nigerians, please do everything to keep your family safe.
If the national assembly, FEC, government ministries and parastatals are not resuming full operation - why should you expose yourself and your family to the huge risk of contacting the microscopic virus.

The very people on whom we depend to guide us forward, in this country Nigeria, would rather have you work to survive in the midst of the war against this microscopic virus, than to protect and provide the basic needs to keep her citizen safe.

I am never disappointed in them. They lack good understanding of what real leadership is all about.
Since the seed of leadership has been planted in us, we have forfeited the right to make an excuse.

In leadership, I’ve learnt that “Values are promoted by what you do and not what you say.”

I urge you to be patient, not become a patient.

Do you think we are heading towards the right direction?

Nigerians are confused and complicated people.

We don't know what you guys want. Any decision the president makes Nigerians must complain.

We are at war. We need to kill our enemies and not the people.

I believe this is happening simply because this is not a physical war.

The government is more confused right now!

People need real leadership in time like this and not just “rushed decisions.”

SHUT UP YOU PUNK!
Could 19 is a virus just like HIV & others and people must learn to live with it. It doesn't have any known cure. You expect Nigeria with an already weak/recessed economy to keep locking down till the cure/vaccine is found? How would people survive? Are there palliatives given?
Since last month has anybody in your family or neighborhood dropped dead yet by corona virus?

I don't know why people choose to come here with borrowed data to create nonsense threads just because they want to talk. RUBBISH!

Chaiii.....Nigerians are a hard set of humans to govern...

Lastweek, they were crying fowl, saying the lockdown should be lifted, they are hungry and starving......If FG don't lift the lockdown, they would hit the street..

Now, the same people are singing another song......

Question: What do we really want from our leaders??

Continued lockdown is very dangerous, killing NIGERIANS in their homes without people knowing and very Corrupt. Lockdown is corruptly enriching those in charge of Palliatives to divert the Resources for themselves. The SECURITIES are also dubiously enriching themselves and helping Government to foster RIFA-RUGA ISLAMISATION FULANISATION AND ANARCHY.

#KILL THE VIRUS DON'T KILL THE PEOPLE WITH UNREASONABLE LOCKDOWNS.

MADAGASCAR HAS GOTTEN A VACCINE FOR COVID19. NAFDAC SHOULD IMPORT IT AND ADAPT IT WITH OONI'S FORMULA FOR OUR USE.

The lockdown will continue after May 4th,the government only succeeded in managing the citizens because of complaints coming from different directions.

Assuming it was mentioned directly by Baba that additional one week has been added after the expiration of the one month, Nigerian would have come out in large number to protect rather the word 'effective ' was used to manage us because 4th May is just around the corner.

FG may likely add another two to three weeks from the way things are going. We should expect another National broadcast from Baba before May 4th.

Lawmakers only resumed to vote yesterday because this can not be done via online ,wait and see if our lawmakers will be around next week.

Lets pray for this country.

Unfortunately, coronavirus is invisible and has trans-boundary capacity, and will spread exponentially. HIV had vaccines, coronavirus do not have.

Majority of the population still lack immunity to COVID-19 and we’ve only succeeded in testing a fraction of the over 200m Nigerians. It’ll be such a huge risk to relax the lockdown.

For once, I think Nigerians should hold government accountable and stop acting like dummies.

The question remains “What if they are right?” Are we ready to hit the reset button?

What if we are wrong? Are we ready to start afresh.

Be patient, don’t become a patient.

The governor also reiterated that Lagos may be recording large cases “soon”, adding that over 7000 samples had been tested in the state.

He said, “We are pretty much getting to the peak season. We will soon see a large number because testing is now wrapped up. It is a public health issue and we needed to take our protocols from NCDC and other international organisations.

Relaxing the lockdown is a dangerous process of trial and error.

I pray we get this NOW!
