A medical staff attached to FIFA has urged the English FA to cancel the 2019-20 premier league season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
FIFA’s medical chief Michel D’Hooghe say he wants the Premier League season nullified with fear about players’ health. The Belgian medical personnel compared the fight against the pandemic to World War II and insists that the season should not resume, but start a new campaign in Setempber.

D’Hooghe warned: “The world is not ready for competitive football. “If there is one moment where absolute priority should be given to health and medicine, it is this. “That is why I ask everybody to be very careful before starting competitions again. “I will be happy if we can have nothing before the start of next season. NLC issues warning against lockdown extension, reveals what would likely happen “If they could start 2020-21 in September they could eventually avoid a second attack from the virus.”
