His excellency, under his leadership has tried his utmost best to diversify the economy by giving loans to farmers and encouraging farming in general.He has also assisted small scale businesses with soft loans eg the trader moni, and has encouraged local production of rice.He has tried to deal with corruption, and he is gradually winning the war against it.Regarding insurgency in the country, he has tried to quell their activities.Also he gives listening ear to ASUU demands thereby forestalling any possible academic strike.He has also increased the NYSC allowance given to corp members.Also and most importantly, he has always reteriated his commitment to promoting peace and forestalling any breakdown in law and order, this is evident as he vanquished any hope of Biafra resurgence.

This article is not actually to bore you about his achievements, as his efforts is very evident in your very life.I want to breakdown to you his masterclass approach, which seems to be working in quelling this notorious virus called the covid-19.

Recall that on 30th March, 2019 president Buhari announced a lockdown of 14 days which was a swift move to combat the novel virus.This action helped in enabling medical personnel's to carry out contact tracing, isolation of infected persons and their treatment.It has yielded positive results as the virus would have escalated if action was not taken. Also our airports and land boarders were closed, this helped in restricting foreigners from coming to the country. He also has increased our testing capacity, and has promised to test more persons. As regards palliative, he has distributed food items and has warned that it should only get to the vulnerable in the society. No money has been distributed yet because Nigeria does not have the social structure to do so. Therefore in his widom, his excellency eased the lockdown starting in effect from on the 4th of May 2020.This will enable the already fragile economy bounce back to normalcy gradually.



If his excellency continues this way, this novel virus will be crushed and Nigerians will smile again.

I remember back in 2015, positivity was in the air, everyone thought a new dawn was in the horizon, but Nigeria is even in a much more terrible position that it was in 2015.
