funny enough he's not the only one. I'm also in the same boat and I'm not a marketer. My MTN SIM I've not loaded a dime on it in a year. I only use it to receive calls now
Same here.
I've not bought data on my mtn throughout this year even though it has been my major sim since 2009.

What I've noticed is that mtn and other service providers only reward new users with good data plans, and returning users with plans like mtn welcome back bundle.

They have neglected loyal customers. So my solution is buy a sim, use for 6 months, dump, buy another sim use for 6 months, dump, go back to 1st sim where I'll be eligible for welcome back bundle. Rinse and repeat.

Guy, this thing is simple. I use mtn and airtel too. But because of the the awoof on airtel, I use them more. I dey register sim anyhow before. It's not only new sims that get a bonus, old sims that have been left dormant for 90 days will get the bonus too.

So what I do is I keep one the airtel sims I have (I have 2. One is my main line) after I have exhausted the bonus period. By that time my mtn will have not been used for 90 days and therefore I will be given the welcome back offers for 3 months. Once that one finishes, I will just insert my second airtel with the bonuses back on. Meanwhile, my main airtel will be in my phone through out. No need to register any new sim again.

This thing na sense guy.
my majority question is if there's bonus like this on mtn

I don't know if u are for real or a marketer has many has termed u to be here.

If u want to go back to mtn u can migrate to New Betatalk. U will get bonus airtime & data whenever u recharge. It's the airtime aspect I enjoy more as u can use it to call all networks.
Please help me with the code

I don't know of any.
But I do know that you will get huge data bundles at cheaper rates if you abandon your sim for about 3-6months.

thank alot, but you know that those bonuses are so much enticing And tempting

Could it be that mtn does not have anything similar to that?

Most freebies come with New SIM cards. I think MTN have, but cannot be compared to what Airtel and GLO give.

Airtel bonus is from day 1 to 6 months, that's why I want to go back to my mtn because I keep changing Airtel line every 6 months
I didn't know that. Thanks for the insight!

I started using my mtn line in 2006, I have retrieved it over 5 times since then, simply because of how far it has gone as my contact

Just early last year I started using Airtel because of their bonuses, you recharge, they give you bonus credit and bonus data and still leave the credit you bought for you to do whatever you want with it,you buy data and they give you double of the data you bought

Since early last year my great mtn line is being sidelined because of my Airtel, as we speak I have about 8k Airtime bonus to call all network and about 17k Airtime bonus to call Airtel

Now my problem is that my mtn is almost dead in my hand, that's not much of a problem, I could switch totally to Airtel but my problem is that this goodies in Airtel lasts only 6 months from the day you purchase the line, so I keep buying new Airtel every 6 months and starting at fresh to share my contact

I can't just continue like this, I want to go back to my mtn full time, please house is there any plan to switch in mtn to give me something similar to what Airtel is giving as bonuses

Thanks

Why not simply port Ur line from MTN to Airtel, that way u retain Ur number and still get the Airtel services.

jeez... So people actually believe that am marketing for Airtel, this is the second time am doing something and people mistake it for marketing

I think am discovering another gift of mine...
Continue practicing your marketing skills as it would attract the attention of corporate entities. However your post doesn't imply your are because I can relate with your story very well.

lastchild you get freebies when you meet up with the following conditions

1. You rarely use you line for browsing and calls at least within 30 days (MTN). MTN gives their inactive voice customers 6 times their recharge including free data. N100 airtime gives N600 plus 100mb, N200 gives N1,200 plus 200mb ( with a validity period of 14 days). Dial *161*recharge pin# to enjoy this offer. This offer is called welcome back offer. Also you get the chance to buy data at discounted rates. for example 1gig cost N200 (valid for 7days), 2gig cost N500(valid for 14 days), 4gig cost N1,000 (valid for 30days) and in some cases 5gig for N1,000 (if you are lucky). dial *131*65# to enjoy this offer for limited period. This offer contributed immensely to MTN's revenue and subscriber base.

2. You are a new customer, you get double of you data you purchase for 4 months, 8times of your recharge which is prorated into calls, data for social media and data to browsing

3. An existing customer, you get certain offers by dialing *121# for MTN deal. Also enjoy another offer when you buy voice and data bundle. Dial *567# to select various bundle ranging from N50 to N500. in some cases N1,000

Now can somebody tell me what plans to migrate in mtn

But I want to migrate from to either 9mobile or MTN

Please educate me on this

Go to an Airtel shop and tell them u want to port Ur number, they'll give u a form to fill and u'll be asked to provide a valid ID card, after which Ur number will be registered and biometrics taken.

A new SIM will be issued and will be functional within 48hrs.

So u'll still have Ur MTN number but under Airtel network and u can get all Ur bonuses without having to keep switching numbers.

Cheers

It used to be *131*65# but it's no longer working.

I now use *121# to buy 1.5 gigabyte for #300. But the rate varies across subscribers.
