South Africa has announced the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has risen by 297 to 5,647.

The total number of tests conducted to date is 207,530, of which 10,403 were done in the last 24 hours.

The number of deaths and recoveries in the country remain at 103 and 2,073 respectively.

Waking Up into "Level 4"

Some South Africans are looking forward to a small window of normality as the country moves from 'Level 5' to 'Level 4' on Friday morning.

From morning jogs, some returning to work and finally eating food that is not prepared in their homes, there is growing excitement over the partial easing of the lockdown.

“It’s such a relief, we are going to have fresh air again to open up your lungs and smell the roses outside,” one citizen said.

The country has been under a total lockdown for 5 weeks.

Alcohol and Cigarettes Not on Sale

However, following government’s U-turn on the sale of cigarettes, curfews and the continued restriction of movement, some said there was no difference between level four and level five of the lockdown.

The sale of alcohol and cigarettes remains banned, and should the coronavirus curve worsen the country will return to 'Level 5' - a total lockdown.

Have to, and wearing masks will be compulsory. But just about a million people are expected to re-enter society (in critical economic sectors mainly), the rest will still be housebound.

Exercise is just between 6-9 am.

How have all these people around the world recovered from this deadly virus?. Is isolation the cure?. . There seems to be an insignificant number of deaths compared to the recoveries . I wonder what the secret is
