Can't believe they are still on this... Since when? Just two months free electricity is what they've been on, dragging upandan since... Is that even a priority right now How much them don pay NEPA? Something that a single individual among them can afford to shoulder from enormous loots of fund they've accumulated in their name even for a whole year! Talk about Majoring on the minor! |

It is a good move. A government that really has empathy for her citizens will not find it difficult to do. |

Jaqenhghar:You can insult me all you want. You are begging when what you ought to be doing is harass your useless rep to buy electricity for you or seek redress for having been cheated. But of course that involves you doing work and you'd just rather beg. |

Imustsurvive:Federal has shares (I think 40%) in the Discos, 100% in the Transmission and almost 50% in the Gencos. So the profits that could have accrued to the Federal Government can be used to mitigate the costs of free electricity for Nigerians. |
Re: Reps Insists On Two-Month Free Electricity For Nigerians by Nobody: 9:23am On May 01, 2020 |
nickxtra:good response Sir, but electricity supply is generally poor, so they given us that, what about those who use prepaid meters? |
Re: Reps Insists On Two-Month Free Electricity For Nigerians by nickxtra(m): 9:39am On May 01, 2020 |
Imustsurvive:But in my area, where I lived in Abuja, there has been improvement in electricity supply in the last 2 months(sometimes we record almost supply for full day). For those with prepaid, they will work out a plan or template to grant them access to enjoy electricity without paying for same. 1 Like |

What a country! Greediness really has no limit, those bastards at the helm of affairs cannot simply implement giving Nigerians 2 months of free electricity. Over 1 trillion donated because of covid 19 yet it is extremely difficult for them to do “one thing” to benefit the masses. It is really a curse to be a Nigerian. |
Re: Reps Insists On Two-Month Free Electricity For Nigerians by Sidmond: 10:38am On May 01, 2020 |
Imustsurvive: Very true.... Don't mind them. After privatizing the sector, they want the private owners to give electricity free, how Why don't you pay them for 2 months instead? We use prepaid meter and have been recharging once it's low, still did yesterday. |

Benin Electricity Distribution Company ( BEDC) is peculiarly inefficient and exploitative. Less than a total 15 hours of power supply in the last 10 days. This isn't a national crisis cos I get positive feedback from elsewhere.. |
