both are good phones, it boils down to Android or iOS

Nonsense s9+ thats no longer receiving updates is what u re comparing wit i7+ that is sure to get ios future updates for up to 4years? Not to mention the fluid performance, no lagging, good gaming capabilities.

Samsung S9+ screens can be very expensive to replace..

The phone too fine but the screen be like E350 Benz pointer. Small crack 80k done comot

Imagine when my screen crack, I pay 50k repair am (2nd hand o). E come crack again then say na 80k for brand-new screen. I just dump the phone jare. and me I don't like using screenguards on my AMOLED screen phones

Apple was supposed to cut of devices like SE,6s n 6splus but they recently announced that all devices running the current 13.4 will receive ios 14 this year and next year if probably they wanted to harsh they would take off the SE and 6s but surely provide 7 the next update. The iPhone 7 has the A10 fusion chip which is powerful enough to receive two more years updates afterwards. Apple doesn't just cut of devices they make sure its chipset is weak before doing that. Tell me any android in the IPhone X category that is still getting updates? Androids are a joke When it comes to long term support and they has that game locked down, I don't care how many terabyte rams they are providing.

Google pixel phones still receive updates. The s9plus is still getting updates. It got android 10. Oneplus still updates their phones as far back as oneplus 6.

not about hating androids, i like pixels their device are marvelous with mind blowing cameras but personalities who care about data security stay far from android, i know ur next argument is that iOS can be hacked too but to each their own, every serious businessmen i have come across are all ios users maybe android should try convincing celebrities to start using their products and then get usa and Europe market shares. Androids are consumed in asia and africa alone and offcourse thats the popularity they keep bragging about. If a shithole like india accept ur product u are up the chats but they forgot that an iPhone sold is equivalent to like 6 android sales.

there's nothing special about iOS updates unlike android that changes most things, like the android 10 came with a gesture navigation, New UI, dark theme etc. iOS updates just come with just security updates and some features most people won't even use.

and for your info, the galaxy note 8 is still receiving security updates

was on whatsapp using my s7 edege then the screen went blank, i was told to bring 70k, the next day i smashed the phone on the ground and i felt good. lesson is pls if you dont have enough money dont go for what you will regret later. i would prefer iphones now

For now, I currently use an Infinix Note 5 Pro Stylus for 2 years now w/o any faults... apart from the stylus pen that started having sensitivity issues when you replace it after using

Yes you are correct, those phones are big men's phone. That's why I advise people if you don't have enough money don't got for it. I phones as well you are limited to some things. I like the feel of iPhone but maybe I will get one when I'm capable to do so and If I do na brand new I will go for.

Don't mind those people shouting update update, one android update get more features than 3 years iPhone update and also ur s9+ will receive security updates for the next 2 years or more. s9plus currently is Android 10(the latest version) all most all apps on playstore will work on it for a very good time unlike iPhone that if u don't update to the next version more than 50 percent of apps will stop working

go for s9+, Android update=4yrs iOS update. iOS update is more of security, stability and some features. You can Install custom rom if you are dire need of update for the s9+. S9+ still receive security update.

How come the recent ipad has an A10 bionic chip if it won't be getting updates beyond 2021? The A10 is a very powerful chip still running everything from Apple stable seamlessly so saying it can't go beyond 2021 isn't factual.
