JOB SUMMARY A reputable Communications Company with interest TV Productions and Security in Lagos and Abuja is looking to hire a Human Resource Executive. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Your responsibilities as the HR administrator will include Forming and maintaining employee records Assisting with recruiting and staffing, such as sitting in on interviews Assisting to write job descriptions to attract quality candidates Managing performance of current employees Generating reports and data to quantify performance and skills Developing and implementing new processes to help the organisation offer a better workplace for staff Assisting with employee discipline Offering orientation and other aspects of new employee onboarding Overseeing and scheduling employee counselling and other services Overseeing compliance requirements Following up on performance concerns and disciplinary action with staff members Updating databases internally, such as sick and maternity leave Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents, i.e. employment contracts and recruitment guides Reviewing and renewing company policies and legal Procedures Reporting regularly on HR metrics, such as company turnover Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries Assisting with payroll by providing the department with relevant employee information, i.e. holiday and sick days taken Other duties as assigned COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS Experience as a HR administrator or HR administrators assistant Understanding various HR software systems, like HRMS Good understanding of labour laws Organisational skills and ability to prioritise Interpersonal with good communicative skills Proficiency in the use of basic Microsoft Office Suite Applications and PowerPoint Ability to think out of the box and a sense of seeing a bigger picture Very highly focus on implementation Strong intellectual and analytical skills Excellent negotiations skills QUALIFICATION/SKILLS The ideal candidate must possess the following skills; Performance evaluation and management Human resources management Benefits administration Conversant with Employment Laws Communication processes Compensation and wage structure EXPERIENCE AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles 3+ years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role PHR/SPHR certification preferred Candidate should apply to: The Managing Director Bi Communications Nigeria Ltd Email: bicom2k@yahoo.com Application Closing Date: May 15th 2020 1 Share |
