The trend now in recent times has shown that people have neglected our traditions and believe more in d culture and traditions of the Westerners. Our negligence and nonchalant attitudes has lead to so many downturn and backwardness for many. Reasons not far fetched, when u were told to Give caesar what belongs to Caesar, you will be saying rubbish and instead of facing reality of life and move forward... Imagine someone, a young man came to consult me few years back, and he said he saw some of my post here and he decided to trace my address and come for consultation. On his arrival, he thought I would say things he expected, but has Eledumare will have it, I told him what I was revealed by IFA. He was told to go and ask his father and that is if his father is still alive, and he said yes his father is still very much alive. Good, ask your father what deity or better still, Which of d Orisa's did their forefathers do appease when they were alive. The young man replied, we are born again Christian in my family and I don't think we have any of such. Well, I told him IFA said he should go to the shrine of the forefathers orisa, sprinkle ekuru and some other food items to the orisa and pray, that after that, I can now prepare some things for him and his ways will open. But he called the father in my presence, and the father replied" yes we have orisa...... that our forefathers do give certain things but because of my religion, I decided not to go there nor appease to the so called deity or orisa. But the father was also down with some ailments too, but I convinced them to go and do what I asked them since it will only require them to just give the orisa what use to be given to d orisa by there fathers. Well, since things were not working well for them and the father also has been on a particular ailment for a long period, they decided to go and do the needful. But to the glory of God Almighty with whom all power belonged, the young man came back with his father, we took some steps for them, and things fall in place for the entire family. Why I decided to share this is just for us regardless if our religious believes, should not do away with our traditional backgrounds as we were not there when some things were done. It doesn't necessarily mean u should be an idol worshipper as they call we traditionalists this day, but give unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar so that u can have your way. And by so doing, doesn't mean you will not enter the kingdom of God. Remember, No man has any power except God. So let's value our backgrounds and stop rolling in a circle without nothing. Remember, the colonial masters has their own traditions too.
