A friend once asked, "Since there were so many forms of Christianity till 325 A.D. (1 God, 2 Gods, 365 Gods, etc each with various beliefs on the birth, nature and divinity of Christ, and various doctrines) how can we be sure we ended up with the right one (actually we ended up with the most aggressive views thanks to our African brother Tertullian)?" So the same way you believe you ended up with the correct version is the way you should believe whatever you believe about Christianity today - by faith. Yes, go ahead and be discouraged but dont stop there. Find the truth, buy it and never sell it.
