You can bath dog with any soap but mind you, any soap you use will show on the fur. Human soap will dry your dogs skin and cause itching.

I think you can use a soap made from natural ingredients to bathe your dog if you can't buy a special shampoo. However, I had an unpleasant experience when I bathed my dog using soap or my own shampoo because his skin became irritated and bald spots appeared. After that, I went to the vet and he advised me to use a special shampoo for dogs for bathing. And I can say that my dog's shampoo contains more natural ingredients than mine, lol. I use Lavender oatmeal pet shampoo (tear, paraben, sulfate, and cruelty free) that is a good smelling dog shampoo and suitable for use on dogs of any age, including puppies.
