This is not a bus or market place. This is a Christian post for CHRISTIANS to share their testimonies, so again if you are not one, WHY are you here?

No one is stopping you from discussing whatever you believe in as you claim you are not an atheist. So open your own post and do whatever you want there rather than clicking a Christian post and then complaining about being disturbed.

Abeg shift one side with your bias opinion.
Hypocrite. You complained about me airing my view here, a public forum , even though the discussion is based on religion. Where in the topic did it say "Christian" or "Christians only" , pls show me.undecided
I gave an example of how your fellow Christian folks disturb us in buses, parks, schools and some even go to the length of carrying mega phone to disturb our peace, at a time when we should be sleeping and resting in preparation for work, all in the name of evangelism. And you're here telling me not to express my opinion just because it doesn't suit well with your beliefs. Abeg shift.
Next time don't read to post, read to understand. undecided

If this post is not about Christians, then why are you talking about Christian folks disturbing you? What is the correlation? undecided undecided

undecided what part of "read to understand" don't you understand?
Someone who's sensible and quick enough to grasp information would quickly understand the point I'm trying to buttress here.
It's okay if you don't understand now, you can show someone to help you out, just don't reply like you didn't think before typing. Smh.

And show me where it was written that this is a Christian post. undecided I'm waiting.

Nope. Not forgetting it, you shot yourself in the foot and are simply trying to backtrack. Next time, learn to mind your business and leave people to believe whatever they choose to. It's a free world and no one should have a problem with other people's belief systems.

Sorry mr man... The thread says religion, not Christianity.

And you are an aetheist, meaning you are irreligious, so why are you on a religious thread you shouldn't be here, the thread is about sharing God's goodness and since you don't believe in the existence of God, the right thing is to allow us with our beliefs not trying to detail the thread.

everything is wrong with that, he should keep his believe to himself or hit the street for an evangelism with his belief or create a thread for his belief. I've had series of events that strengthened my Faith in Almighty God, but I'd like to concentrate on one memorable one.

It happened in May 2014. I was already in my ninth month of pregnancy so I decided to kpekus with hubby having in mind that that would activate labour and guess what? It sure did. My Mum had already arrived for the omugwo, so we went to the hospital together at that midnight. Fast forward to 8 to 9am, Our handsome boy arrived and I Prayed and Blessed him. Shortly after that, while the nurses were still cleanining me up, something popped out of me(blood clots) then behold fountain of blood. Everybody started running up and down calling on Doctor. It was then I knew I was having serious post partum haemorrhage. The doctor arrived and started infusion of all kinds to control the bleeding, for where? My mum was in the theatre praying fervently, without any form of drama at all, She kept on professing that she didn't die after giving birth to me, so am not gonna die and leave my baby. That woman strong dieh! The bleeding continued and my hubby was asked to go get blood from Ikeja, meanwhile the hospital is at Oshodi. Next thing,
I noticed I was loosing my strength and my body was getting cold, before I could say Jack, I started gasping for breath and next thing is black out.

I later woke up in one of the hospital wards, and was told by my mum and the Nurses that I gave up 3 good times, and in those moments; my mum managed to force the Crucifix of her Original stainless Rosary in my mouth( I'm a Proud Catholic). If you see this Chaplet, you won't believe it's a Human being that devoured that. It's in mumsy's archive anyways. I was later given 3 pints of blood, but before then God already came through for me.

Indeed Almighty God is a Miracle working God and IS ever near to those that call and trust in HIM. I am who, what, and where I am today because God made it so, In Fact am a loaded Living Testimony.
Shalom!

Mine was on August 1, 2015. I was traveling from Ilorin to Oyo town to see the parents of my ex then. I was driving and I had a friend also seated beside me on the front seat beside the driver. I wanted to stylishly convey my serious intention to her parents, so I bought different kinds of fruits and wrapped them like engagement items and kept them inside the boot.

Mind you I was supposed to attend a vigil on the eve of that day (Friday, 31st July), but I chose not too, because I would be traveling the following morning.

So, on getting to Alata area, before Deeper Life Camp (on the Ilorin-Ogbomosho expressway), I was not really overspeeding, but my car suddenly started swerving. By that time, I had lost control of the wheels, so, the car was just swerving on the road while on speed. My friend kept calling me and asking me about what was going on, and suddenly, the car hit one of these road dividers made of concrete and then summersaulted thrice and then faced the direction I was coming from (Ilorin). Now, the last thing I still remember was that when the car hit the road divider. I was GONE! It was as if there was a total blackout.

This was around 12pm. I remember seeing myself in a place where I met an old man. The old man asked me what I was doing there, I didn't utter a word. So, he told me to go back to where I was coming from, that I had not even done the work he gave me. At that time, I started hearing faintly the cry of people, and then after about 3 to 4 hours, I opened my eyes and I saw about four Doctors and Nurses doing suitures on my head and ear. I had memory loss and was just looking at everyone in the Theater. After some time, I asked where I was and I was told Lautech Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso. I then began to ask them what had happened. They tried to ask me information about my family but I remembered none until after about an hour again.

I then saw my friend who by God's grace didn't sustain any serious injury. He then narrated the story: After my car (Honda bulldog) summersaulted thrice and stopped, the car bonnet flew to the other devide of the expressway. The car became a write off and to bring me out was a task. While my friend was brought out through the side window, the people who rushed to the scene had to use Cutlass and some metals to further break the car into pieces and then brought out my dead body. People were already wailing when a Pastor driving in his church bus offered to carry my body and my friend to the Teaching Hospital. As the man was driving, he was crying and praying that God should prove himself. That was on Saturday.

On Monday, my elder sister was returning from Lagos and when she got to the spot where the accident occurred, the driver of the commercial bus she boarded was showing the passengers that that was where a serious accident occurred on Saturday and a young guy died. Then, my sister told the guy that the guy came back to life, but the guy disbelieved. When it became an argument, my elder sister called me and I spoke to her while in the commercial bus. Could you believe that nothing happened to the fruits in the booth, including the wine I bought? Funningly too, myself and the girl didn't eventually marry.

WHAT CAN GOD NOT Do? Pls, share your own experience of God's Miracles and wonderful Acts. PLEASE, Let this testimony make the from page (to the glory of God) abeg!

To God Almighty be all the glory!

I cant answer all your question and l wont try to, so dont expect much from my answer.

There is RELIGION - regular Church going, loud prayers, tying head, signing for Church Worker, etc. All outward things you can see in a "Christian".

There there is SPIRITUALITY - a relatiosnhip, very private one with God, a belief, faith, prayers and walking with God which only the person and God sees and understand.
It is completely independent of all the things above (Religion) and what Christians think is necessary. It involves doing good, without expecting anything in return, in secret mostly, it involves listening to your heart in most things you do and your heart, where 'good and evil' resides, telling you that you are doing the will of God and not fooling yourself!

To experience the awsomeness of God and his power, you need to be spiritual, not necessarily religious.
In my own opinion, with time, your spirit will start telling you that you are one with God, who is alos a spirit.

Most of us are Religious but we are not Spiritual
If you look around, you would have wondered why a country like China that does not believe in God (Not religious, by our own understanding as Christians), is better than a Nigeria where every corner has a Church or Mosque and we pray like prayer is going to be banned tomorrow!
Yet things dont work for us but work for the so-called atheist country?
Just listen to what some of them are saying on this thread...and they seem to be able to justify their sayings. undecided

It is because most of us in Nigeria (a vast majority) are Religious but not Spiritual.
Some of those people we look down upon, are in tune with the spirit of God (though not Religious or as openly religious as us) and they have developed spirituality over time to the point that some of them can communicate in spirit, with God,

Just do good to fellow man as you would that it is done unto you, pray to God, ask for wisdom from god, trust God and have faith in his ability to hear your prayers, do what you need to do as a humanbeing and keep your trust in God at all times and always ....... even when thngs dont seem to be going your way. When you pray and dont get the desired result, know that it is because your spirit is yet to be attuned to God, not because god does not hear prayers, cleanse your body, heart and spirit a little bit more, get closer to god even more.
Funnily, God is simple, far too simple than most of us beleive or we are made to beleive!
He is just like your Daddy you gave birth to you, infact, better than our Daddies because he is more forgiving than our Dads and can see far neyond our earthly Dads but like our Dad in that he listens to us and is ready to come to our aid, if we trust him like a little child, when thrown-up into the air by the Dad, knows and trust that the Dad will not drop him to the cold floor but catch him, less he falls.

Dats'all. I told you you wont learnmuch from me. grin grin
BTW, we are all living under God's grace and most of the benefits we get, including myself, we are (l am) undeserving of it but God is just so kind he overlooks my shortcomings.
In an hurry now, got to go.

Thanks for your response, it's well appreciated.

God is truly great.my wife was due for delivery at exact 9months and she requested to buy baby things in Ibadan a 3hrs trip from my base..it was a smooth drive in a Mercedes with my friend on the wheel.my wife ,mother inlaw my househelp and my daughter stocked at d back seat ,while I sat at d front seat ..After getting all we needed ,we decided to return same day around 6.30pm..my daughter was always find of staying close to me..she sat at d front seat with me and after a while she started crying ,serious one that she wants to return to the back seat and it was not even going to be comfortable for everyone at the back seat ,because of loads in stock asides the people seated with my pregnant wife .well my wife voluntarily asked that I should pass her my daughter..thank God I did ..I then fasten my seat belt and within 4minutes drive..all I could remember was d car flying and swerved off the road and went after three guys in the bush and landed on one of them ,a boy of about 8yrs old

We were not even aware of anything.the air bags came out ,the windscreen shattered and it was black out for me for almost 4minutes untill I heated shout of "my brother is under the car oo".I got frightened and said last last we Don kill person.i was not even aware my wife of 9months and daughter and grandma were in the car ,untill passers bye on their own journey stopped ,with mobile police to help us .we all came out of the totally damaged car .Then the lifted up the car to help the dead boy under the car..Well you should know the boy should be dead or paralised ..When they brought this boy out, he stood up and walked on his own..(let me repeat ,the boy was not just under the car with high impact but the tire of the back seat where grandma sat on was where the impact fell on him)
Been a member of celestial church the revelation came but we ignored the warning after prayer and fasting.

The good thing now is that the next day I knew I have to pay serious debt to fix the car as it wasn't mine .a tokunbo car which belongs to my friend. On getting there the first, I was surprised the only evidence of accident was the bent time windscreen and airbag ..the car started ,the father of the boy who felt the impact came to meet us there and we got scared and asked after the boy, (I thought he later died or so) and he responded that his son is playing football no scratches nothing and he demanded for 100naira if we have..infact I have him more than enough .

God is gracious and I thank God I didn't lose any of my family member and neither did the young boy die or sustain injury..we fixed the car at a total cost of just 50k..
Praise God

You have a calling

So how have you being doing the work He sent you

Just curious shocked shocked.

There is a popular place in Ikorodu , Majidun to be precise. I don't know if it's still there

There they treat people especially those who are mentally challenged

So we wanted to pay them a visit and take care of them that day

So my church members parked to pick me up.

As I was about to cross the road to the place the bus was parked

I look left, right then left again, waiting patiently, finally as I was crossing the road, a car from nowhere came out and hit me!!!

It threw me up, I rolled several times then fell on the bonnet of the car then fell on the floor

Some thought that I was gone, many thought that least I would be fractured in multiple places

They mugged the driver that he has killed someone but I stood up and asked them to release the driver

They insisted that he should take me to the hospital but instead I went with them to Ikorodu

That experience strengthen their faith in God. It energized them. They couldn't stop praising and appreciating God till we got there.

Even at the place they re-tell the story to encourage the people not to give up hope

Because there's a God of all possibilities

You don't know what God really did for you o. Please remain steadfast.

I saw similar scenerio also. A car lost control and swept a young man walking on the side of the road. The man went up was acrobating in mid air. He landed on the tarred road and that was the end. His skull burst and his brain littered the whole road. Please thank God for this second chance.

Wonderful God! Am moved to tears. This God , how wonderful you are. I was preparing to travel for Xmas from ilorin to Onitsha, being a prayerful person, I decided to keep vigil and pray against accident. While praying and deep in the spirit, I saw dead bodies of corpers lying on the road. After the prayers , I narrated what I saw to my mum . The next day, she saw me to Onitsha park at Oja Oba Ilorin. To my surprise, there were about 10 corpers on the queue travelling to Onitsha as well. I decided to board the same bus with them coz of the revelation I had. My mom panicked but I advised her to go home and keep praying for our safety. The driver was an Igbo man which is unusual. That transport company hates working with Igbo people, yet 90 percent of their customers were igbos.
I led the corpers and the other occupants of the vehicle in a short but powerful prayer . After the prayer , I kept calling on the blood of Jesus to save the day coz of my revelation. On getting to Osi in kwara state, I dozed off only to awaken at screams of 'Jesus Jesus Jesus'. The car summersaulted three times and plung into a ditch . Miraculously all of us survived. What surprised me the most was the Igbo driver took me aside and said, 'nne, tell me the truth, who are you'?

You don start, how can you say you saw two dead bodies while praying

If you believe there's God, you will also believe there's miracle too cause both are inseparable.

Back then in 2016, my dad(of blessed memory) came to my room and asked me to drive him to a barbing salon. Prior to that day, I wanted to go out with my aunt's car but she told me to stay clear of driving for the week(more like a warning) but when dad told me to drive him out, I've forgotten what my aunt told me. On our way, he(dad) told me to take a document to one of his boss house that he would have been done before I'm back.I dropped him off, went to deliver the document. On my way back, something told me to put on the seatbelt so I parked to put it on. I checked the rear mirror and it was safe to get back to on the road. Out of nowhere, this bike man leveled up beside me on the road and was accusing me of what I don't know while still on wheel. I don't even know how it all happened and next thing I heard was a loud screeching noise beneath the car. I had to park in the middle of the road to check what the problem was and guess what, the bike was right under the car but couldn't see the bike man. He was at the other side of the road! It all happened in a flash. He had only bruises on him and I took him to the hospital. I later learnt from his wife that he died few months after the incident from another cause entirely.
