THE IMPACT OF PARENTING ON A CHILD'S EMOTIONAL COMPETENCE.

The early years of life are a period when children brain grows and evolve in complexity at a greater rate than it ever will again. During this period kinds of learning takes place more than later in life and emotional learning becomes more expedient for them.

The exchanges between parent and child have an emotional distinct that result to a core emotional outlook and capabilities. This as to do with parent pleasure at the request of their children, which mold the Child's emotional expectations about relationships and outlooks that will flavor her functioning in all realms of life, for better or for worse.

This risk is great for those children whose parent is grossly immature, abusing drugs, depressed or chronically angry, or simply aimless and living a chaotic live. Such parent cannot afford to give adequate care, let alone attune to their children’s emotional needs.

Studies have shown that student who are neglected by parents are the most anxious, inattentive apathetic and aggressive, withdrawn from school or have to repeat class.

Finally, children who are confident and optimistic versus those who expect to fail starts to take shape in the early years of their life. Hence, parents need to understand how their actions can help generate the confidence, the curiosity, and the pleasure in learning and understanding what helps children to succeed in life.

True for the most part. For children with CARING and SUPPORTIVE families with one parent, both parents or surrounded by an active, caring and positively interactive/integrative extended family systems.

Hence, parents need to understand how their actions can help generate the confidence, the curiosity, and the pleasure in learning and understanding what helps children to succeed in life.

Not all children are fortunate to have functional or living parents. Parents are not always around 24/7 and may have to work. Children are in orphanages, boarding/reformatory schools or are sent away by their parents to live with strangers or other family members because they can’t afford to raise them for obvious reasons.
