Polaris Bank has reacted to calls and text messages allegedly emanating from the lender to its customers informing them that their accounts have been restricted by the bank. Polaris Bank in a statement seen by AllNews stated that scammers were behind the calls and text messages.

The calls and text messages had informed customers of Polaris Bank that their Bank Verification Number (BVN) and other personal information were needed as their account had been restricted.
