Hello Nairaland, please I need your help at this moment. My mom is suffering from insomnia, she's having sleeping disorder, she hasn't been able to sleep since Late February(No sound sleep).we have been to both government & private hospitals and none of the treatment is working. Sleeping pills doesn't work for her anymore. She's just 53 years old. The sleeping disorder started when her Blood pressure became high with her pulse, then we were able to control her blood pressure and pulse.Numbers for her blood pressure are normal we do check it every morning. But the problem still lies with her inability to sleep. Which is causing serious health issues for her.Whatever natural remedies she could use or whatever she could do to tackle this illness. Medical personnels, doctors, Trado-medics, and anyone who have idea and advice on what to do, Please your response,will be highly appreciated .I need my Mom back to what I use to know her to Be.

Put some vegetables in her food and you will be amazed how she will sleep for two days

Insomnia usually happens when one retires from his or her active work ( may be vigorous ) for some time and if there is what he or she is worried about constantly.

Therefore, she can regain her sleep if she decides to be active during the days and worry about nothing in life. she should be eating heavy foods in the afternoon and try to reflect back to her good old days frequently.

I believe she will be fine if she follow these tips . My God see her through.

the normal veggies we eat right. Her diet is more of vegetables and fruits now
