Okay.
Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord. —Proverbs 12:22

The Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee. —I Kings 22:23
post 1A. .
Let me start with this quoted verses above

Lying lips an abomination to the Lord..yes

1st kings 22:23 ...The lord put a lying spirit in the mouth of all this your prophets...

King Ahab gathered 40 Prophets for himself who must speak what he likes...But only one True prophet micaih will never compromise what Lord truly says but king Ahab hated the only true prophet of the lord Machaih .....a spirit Angel called Lucifer who chose to rebel against God also had his disciples too as at that time in the heavens (Lucifer and his spirit Angeles have all been driven away from heaven Revelation 21) When God gave king Ahab a righteous prophet Michiah but he hated the prophet apart from doing other wrong things that God detests,. God himself wants to do away with King Ahab... Prophet Michaih revealed how 'a spirit Angel who belong to the Lucifer chose to invoke lies on all the 40 prophets gathered by king Ahab So that Ahab will hear what sooth his ears and die in the process, God allowed the Lucifer Angel to carry on what sooths king Ahab because God wants to do away with him reason been that Gods only true prophet then machaih warned king Ahab not to go to a particular war which is revealed truly that he will surely die... God was even fair to get the repercussions of what will happen to him if he goes to the war revealed to him by his true prophet michaih but king Ahab's choice was the second choice if 40 lying prophet that king Ahab gathered for himself... So the lesson here is Choice to obey God i
Or falling for Satan.........Now let's harmonise with How God detest lying lips. As you can see He did Not hide the truth from king Ahab.. He still send prophet michaih to tell king Ahab he will die ....but the king rather loved what other lying prophets 40 of them will tell him...so God allowing Satan spirit Does Not mean that he loves lying, No he detest it that's why he sent prophet michaih to warn Ahab of the danger but God cannot force Ahab to accept truth.... So he chose lies from the Lucifer spirits

You explained one and failed to explain what contradicts it(1st king 22:23).
meanwhile Continue with the rest, especially this:
Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign. —II Kings 8:26
Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign. —II Chronicles 22:2

what you term contradiction was in your own understanding of contradiction.... I actually explain that God detesting a lying lips doesn't mean that he will Not allow the devil to visit...that's true but we are the one that will chose the Right thing

Ahaziah’s true age when he became king of Judah is easy to discern

. In 2 Kings 8:17, Ahaziah’s father Joram reigned for 8 years after beginning his reign at age 32. Joram was 40 when he died, showing that Ahaziah could not have been 42, but was instead 22 when he began his reign.
WHY 42 in 2 Chronicles? Its because of Copyist error, early Hebrew texts have issues and we have to admit that...four at times will be rendered two-two instead of writing four at once......the same way God could be written as a lesser god ...the earlier Hebrews are not case sensitive....
several ancient texts have 22 (or simply 20) instead of 42 as listed in the Masoretic Text (MT) in 2 Chronicles 22:2. The Syriac version (common to Eastern churches) and Arabic version each have 22. The Septuagint (LXX) has 20
This does not makes Bible contradictory to those Seeking the truth, You will see that the True answer to Azariah age is found in the same chapter 8:17 which gives us a clue to his fathers age that died at fourty while he began his own reign at 22. Simple. Any question?
