Everyone is worth being helped

I don't do cliches, I don't waste time arguing.
Mr A is buzzed by Mr B online. Mr B is searching for opportunities....Mr A is sounding positive in helping out.
Mr B informs Mr A about an interview in another state which is threatened by funds. Mr A sends money to stranger( Mr B). Mr A also dropped some lines on how to answer everyday interview questions of which blew Mr B's mind.
Mr B attends the interview but cuts off all communications afterwards. Mr A was worried and kept calling....hoping that all is well with Mr B. Calls not picked......after days later an SMS was sent informing Mr A that he will call later.....which never really happened.
Weeks later Mr B calls to say that a new job has been offered him, needs some advice from Mr A.
Mind you no feedback on how the first interview sponsored by Mr A played out. Now Mr B is still asking for help.
Is it a crime for Mr A to keep mute and cut off any form of association all in the name of helping?
This is one good scenario.....history is replete with numerous examples of people that should be left alone.
