I'm here for advice
I'm a 17 yo kid (will be 18 this October), 100L in medics stuff.
I really, realllly, really, wanna start building my self financially I just don't know where to start
I don't necessarily wanna make cash immediately (but I will if its possible).. But what I truly need right now is guidance and knowledge.
What books should I read?
What sites should I frequent?
What skills should I develop?

Please, I don't to be like other people depending on government and salary

You are already on the right part.The first stage is to have the desire and seek ways and answers to your desire.
I am proud of you that you are not interested in what the time wasters on this forum spend their time on.I believe you are already 20% successful and on your way to achieving your dream.
There are many things i would love to share with you here but for the toxic environment here.However,i will share 1 with you and if you desire more i can spare 30mins with you,if you wish.

[b]1) Time
I will not go religious on this but will be very honest and practical, of all the many things you need to build your empire TIME is key.
Watch what you spend your time on,time is the major thing between you and your dreams.If you spend all your day reading Nairaland,facebook,IG,tweeter Gists you will amount to nothing! if you spend time watching TV and following sports all day you cannot build any significant empire.You have the same 24hrs as anyone you see building an empire or climbing a ladder,the way you spend your time and the things you spend it on within every 24hrs of each day is what will set you apart.
It is the same 24hrs we work with that gives some people 40k per month and the same 24hrs for 30 days give other 400k per month each with not more than 24hrs.
Everything we do each day and leave undone each day will lead us to whatever path we find ourselves at each stage of life.
Watch your routine,what,who and where you spend your TIME. You've got only 24hrs each day!

2)STAY AWAY FROM GIRLS AND RELATIONSHIPS( sorry,i don't have much time to go into this)

That's all i can give at this moment .I want you to know that i believe you can do it and wish you well on your journey building the empire of your dreams.

The only step I have taken lately now is opening an account.
I also have books that I read concerning this matter
Apart from that. My hands are tied. I'm just a broke boy who knows nothing.
I will do something about it, but this lockdown just complicated things. I should even be in school by now.

I am just 19 years old ..... sometimes I feel useless because I am just confused on what to do that will elevate my finance ..... though I av not started earning anything in this lockdown.
I gained a bit of knowledge and they say knowledge is power
So here are the books I read that that I can advise you to read .

2.think and grow
3.the millionaire next door
4.richest man in Babylon

@ OP, I must say you are lucky. Why,you might ask? Not many think along such lines at such age, over here.

Yes, read books ( Richest man in Babylon and others mentioned). but learn digital skills ,THAT, is the future..

Web design ,Graphic design ,app development, Copy writing ,Logo design, video editing , animation and a whole lot of other's.

But if per chance if you have a passion you want to pursue, you can go that route.

One step at a time.Opening an account is good,it means you are ready to start receiving payments.The books suggested are great,please read as much as you can.Reading will shape your mind in a way you cannot imagine but don't stick at that.Ideas rule the world,learn something that can help you build your ideas.You must have something in mind you want to build on otherwise keep learning and volunteer to gain experience and exposure you can build upon.

10 years is not far from now...in another 10 years you will be 29 and those Amebo will be asking you when are you going to get married ,reminding you how you will soon be 30!
Some of us had the privilege to learn from real rich people,so i'll tell you that you will learn more from experience.if you have friends with rich dads/your dad watch them ,observe the way they talk and move,ask them questions like what where they doing at 19 and stuffs just learn to keep a conversation and network......You will find that being able to keep a conversation and able to network with high net-worth people will come handy in the future...i learnt that at 17 from my dad!
So books will help ,watch your circles very well,have a target ,get a mentor and keep your goals ahead of anything.i believe you guys will succeed.

sadly, I have zero connection with rich friends or rich parents.
even in my immediate family. is there any way I can get experience other than the one you mentioned above??

luckily (maybe) for me, I was already proficient with Corel Draw and MS Office before this lockdown destroyed things. I'd like to be better buh I don't have Corel Draw on my phone or lappy.
last time I tried to install it myself I ruined my laptop..it had to be flashed and reset. I have been scared to tamper with the laptop since then

I already now know the required software I need for a goal I had in mind.
I have been overlooking a keen part of myself. I like editing content. It pushed me to where I am today.
Be it text, video, audio or image, I love editing all of them (MS Office, VSDC Pro, EDjing and Photoshop respectively.)

I know how to use all these software and more.
I just opened a YouTube channel. I want to put my creative force into the test. I'm also kicking a bad habit of mine.
I learnt SEO optimization, CTR tips and tricks and learning how YouTube and Google search engines work with data corpus.
A lot is going on Sir.
I am going to pay for the training as soon as I have such amount to my name. I don't have a naira to my name presently. But I KNOW IT WILL CHANGE SOON.
I dont want to beg.
