I am Emmanuel by name, a graduate of FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY OWERRI, petroleum engineering to be precise, and just concluded my service as of march 5th ( POP). when I was 300 level, my father made a promise for me to travel abroad for my master's program, that is after my project, defended my project and gotten my certificate (B.ENG), so after achieving all this, I told and reminded him about the promise, so he said no problem, so we started making enquiries on how to go about it, ask so many questions and me myself I tried applying for scholarship, then somtin happen, when they poisoning my father mind for me to go for services, was very angry, thinking spending 1 yr in this country, not 4 anytin good, but 4 service, so he said I should nt bother, I should go 4 d service, DAT is just a yr program, and it should not look as if I didn't go to skul, whereas discharge certificate is not required for the processing, so I decided to go 4 d service, which is next, fast forward to the next yr (2019), my father died, b4 d service, was frustrated and down, and was contemplating, weder to go or not and was on pressure from my family to go 4 service, b4 DAT HV already told my grand father what me and my father discussed, and he said, after the service I will travel, now am done with the service, my family are telling hustle and work here, giving me 1 excuse or the other, I no u people will be asking how am I going to get the money, yes. I actually change my mind when my father died, was initially going for skul, but nw going to work, and from there start processing my skul and also applying 4 scholarship, about the money, my grand father happens to own many plots of land in his village, and rich when it comes to land, and has promise to help me raise some money by selling some piece for me (3 million), he said okay, and my family on the other hand are saying hustle and make the money, am nw thinking and asking, because am the first son and man of the house, how many yrs will I save and raise the money, couple with the responsibility and situation of the country (COV19), and the country is not good, so guys I need ur advice, please no insult, sorry 4 making this long, I really need ur advice, thanks and GOD Bless

Please tell me you are joking at bold? Is that an interest rate for a commercial bank or a wonder bank.

The last time I checked which is a few months ago the CBN brought out policies that forced banks to drop interest rate on fixed deposit.The CBN is forcing banks to do more of lending.I am not sure any bank can offer up to 3% interest rate p.a on a fixed deposit of one billion.I might be wrong but I dont think so.
