Nigeria's Healthcare Momentum Drops As Nimedix Postpones IEO by iEAN(m): 12:19pm On May 27, 2020
After a long wait, NiMEDix, a blockchain-based healthcare project for Africa that was expected to raise at least $10 million on Bitfxt has applied a break amidst expectations. A process scheduled to go live on Monday, 25th May 2020, NiMEDix Ecosystem announced yesterday that it has postponed the launch (IEO) of its healthcare cryptocurrency, NIM coin.

The news which appears to have saddened the hearts of over 20,000 ready retail investors and miners for the project was revealed in an update from the NiMEDix CEO, Ochoche Ubenyi, who also confirmed that the NIM coin will now be launched within the next six to eight weeks.

NiMEDix has the potential to raise millions from investors, citing notable partnerships with BurstIQ, Applicature, and other champions of the enterprise blockchain-based solution for international healthcare industry transactions.

What Went Wrong with the NIM coin?

According to the update from the team, the launch of NiMEDix Ecosystem's digital currency was going right on track with the team successfully developing the first stabilized blockchain on which the coin was to operate in 2019.

Buoyed by that progress, the project’s business development team swung into full action to bring the project into further mainstream consciousness. However, the release of the NIM coin has been delayed by “sanitization challenges” observed during the final phases of launch procedures.

Lead marketer and Co-founder, Armstrong Adeka admits advising the business team that there was a need to allocate more time to marketing to aid coin release success.

Furthermore, Nnamdi Jeffrey Emmanuel Chizoba, Co-founder, whose presence, experience, and clout provided new resources and drive for better results strongly held that enough has not been done in the space of marketing and engagements. Having seen “the most feasible solution in sight”, the team was forced to “postpone the public release,” yesterday.

According to the Chief Technical Officer and Co-founder, Emmanuel Yanum there is now a possibility that the first version of the NiMEDix artificial intelligence software component, a mobile application known as DApp could now be released alongside coin launch.

What’s the Way Forward for NiMEDix?

While potential investors are delayed the opportunity to benefit from a promising healthcare project, NiMEDix sought to strengthen its commitment to adding value to the healthcare industry for token holders and the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

The NiMEDix Press Statement

After close consultation with our partners in the healthcare and blockchain industry and community around the world, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the launch (IEO) of our NIM coin this March.

Having spent the past year preparing for this launch with our advisory board, speakers, exhibitors, and event partners, we're genuinely upset and disappointed not to be able to launch our coin with you at this time, but we have a firm resolve that we have made the right decision and we’re acting in your best interest.

We want to thank all our fans, waiting investors, enthusiasts, and partners for their support, open discussions and encouragement. As everyone has been reminding us, great things are bound to happen with the NiMEDix Ecosystem community. For this reason, we fully intend to launch the NIM coin later in this quarter. We will be working with our partners to finalize the details and will share more information about our plans in the coming weeks.
