With the little knowledge I have gathered about man's relationship with God, I have discovered that humans serve God in three ways: faithful service, unfaithful service and eye service.

A faithful service is total obedience to God's commands. Hence, a faithful servant is one who consistently reflects, meditates and evaluates his or her relationship with God. They are usually scared of offending God, trying to observe His injunctions and remaining pure for fear of dying in sin. They are ready to die for a just and true cause, especially their faith. The people in this category are very rare or few because they feed their souls, and not flesh.

An unfaithful service is total disobedience to God's commands. Hence, an unfaithful servant who consistently disobeys, ignores and loves to do evil. They have lost their conscience and sold their souls to the devil. They accept their unrepentance and care less about their end. They are not hypocrites, but evil machineries that could cut short the life of a faithful servant.

The last is the eye service which seeks to totally satisfy man for his appraisal. Hence, an eye servant places man above God in all aspects of his or her life. They are hypocrites in places of worship and found everywhere. They love their lives dearly and could be misjudged as faithful servants.

However, we have those who exhibit dual traits of these categories, may be because change is the only constant thing which could also be permanent as in the case of people who turn from bad to good or vice versa.

In conclusion, it will be unwise to judge anyone in either category because we can't tell what could happen in ones last minute on Earth.
