Up till now they still have this problem. They resolved to be going for the leaders instead, I think they gon kill more leaders. Are these guys so powerful? When I was there for service the insecurity was high, bad news errday, the bandits wrote a letter to the lg I serve that the people should be ready for them. I remember last year fg sent 100s of soldiers, police, nscdc, mopol, vigilantes in trucks and hilux vans, students and teachers were all running out to greet them, I saw Nigerian soldiers like I never seen them before some put leafs to hide their faces and some painted their faces black. It was like a war zone, the mud road they all headed to the forest to meet the bandits was close to our school so we heard that buhari gave them 2weeks to clear off the bandits and there was good news of joint force defeating them and bombing some of them in their various hideouts but in a month it all started again and gov masari had to visit the affected local govts by meeting the bandits in forests with hopes of resolving errthing and the captives were released to govt but it is not stopping and why is it not stopping?, the bandits are the indigenes themselves, why are they been so hard to defeat till now?
