AN OPEN LETTER TO PASTORS AND CHURCH LEADERS

Dear church Pastors,

We thank God that the government has opened the churches to operate again and I wish to congratulate us all,
However, I wish to advise that:

1. This is not the time to make the same mistakes we made before the lockdown that made the government to group the church with the drinking bars. The church lost his voice, lost its relevance and lost its power. It must be redeemed.

2. We should act in power and not in flesh. Let us go back to God to manifest His power through prayers, words and less of entertainment.

3. This is the time to return back to aggressive evangelism and follow up of the backsliders, backsliding and those wounded but now on the fence.

4. This is the time to teach the word, I mean undiluted word of God to build brethren's faith back to God.

5. This is not the time for fund raising to recover all you have lost, seed sowing or money pledge to fight or special Thanksgiving for surviving corona. Remember that many are angry that the previous seeds could not save them from corona, job losses and closed businesses.

6. This is the time to invest in the people. Church projects are good but at the end of it all, it is only the people that matters. Remember church is a charity organization.

7. Information Technology (IT) usage is not a sin, please invest in one now because tomorrow is pregnant.

This is the time to pray and act in power. These signs shall follow them that believe...(Mark 16:17)

Remember He said, my house shall be called a house of prayers (Matthew 21:13) and on Mount Zion shall be deliverance, it will be holy.. (Obadiah 1:17)

You are blessed.

Yours in Him,

Bro. Tunde Rufai.
