Few reasons why Nigerians will still be rushing Techno and Infinix.

Xioami, it's a new product in Nigeria, despite the fact that it is a tech giant, in China. The average Nigerian hasn't built that trust for its product. Not to talk about being able to efficiently pronounce the name.

Secondly, The marketing of xiaomi is much on Nairaland, than can be seen anywhere else, and it's users are mostly the marketers. Therefore those affected by digital divide (the average street man) are exempted.

Thirdly, Techno and infinix have played their dues, by organizing road shows, signing up with the big artist, and marketing to the ordinary Nigerians, who are majorly their target market and also, techo and infinix has also reached out to the network giants, on marketing too( new phones coming with network sticker for free data or double data). Phone reviewers weren't not left out, in using them to market their products.

Because of this few reasons, especially the third one, Techno, infinix and itel, has become the household name to many Nigerians who doesn't care about the specifications of their phone, but are mostly concerned about their camera and the fact that they are using the latest Techno or Infinix phone.

Xiaomi, Huawei OPPO all have a major work to do, if they care about the entry level Nigerians and those affected by digital divide.

Note am not a Techno or infinix user, I have being with the Huawei family and currently with Y9 2019 previously used Y7. My family members are all hauwei users with Y6, Y7, Y9s, and nova 3i
