Police/security works demands 24hrs vigilance. How can all officers got killed without even injuring or maiming just one arm Robber? How? If police station is not safe, please, tell me where is safe. Is it Railway Station? How can all 6-8 POLICE OFFICERS shot dead in their working place? How? Is there no Guns or Ammunition or Bullets in the Station store?

they knew the instance they started robbing the bank, a distress call would be placed to the nearest police station. so the robbers had to shut all loopholes.

The Nigerian police force needs complete overhaul.The robbers attacked a police station and killed 8 police personnel on duty .I served at isanlu kogi state in 2014 and I won't pray for my enemy to visit that town because we struggled for water,light and some essential needs.This same first bank operates twice in a week coz of constant robbery in the town.

I sincerely sympathize with the family's of those who lost their lives and may the good lord grant them eternal rest this is so worrisome the major problem with crime this day is police hardly respond to crime scenes unless after the deeds has been long done May God help us

The law enforcement agencies should learn to be proactive in their approach to securing the citizens. One should have known that things like this will happen. The about four months lockdown was going to breed incidents like this which an intelligent police force should have known. For instance at Oshodi and many parts of Lagos during that lockdown period if one passed through those areas you would see battalions of youths roaming the areas and these are boys and girls that were living on daily incomes. The 'area boys' mostly were bus drivers or conductors now no work for them and those in authority did not think it wise to provide them with any palliative to sustain them for the period. This is the outcome. FG has just asked banks and other financial institutions to resume full operations and this is happening. This is a clarion call for police and other law enforcement agencies to be at alert. High ways should be properly monitored as the ban on interstate travels would soon be lifted. May the God of all comfort comforts the bereaved families. May God touch the hearts of people to depart from evil. I would implore our youths to turn from sin and embrace Jesus our Redeemer.
