good day all

pls I need a forum where I can meet parents who live in diaspora but have sent their young children to Nigeria for secondary school?

I know schools like Loyola Jesuit, adesoye etc have lot of kids from diaspora studying there.

I would like to chat with some of those parents so I can consider my options.

You want them to have a piece of African culture? Or you want them to have a taste of the struggle?

Bebe2, contact the school's admission office which you are interested. Second step, enquire about such arrangements, ask to join their next parent's association meeting. There, you will be acquainted with such parents. If you ask the question here, you might not get the answers you seek due to trolls

In all honesty, that's sh.it is not meant for me and no need to keep on being petty with you on a faceless forum.

I can understand that frustration really drove many people out from Nigeria and never ever want to return.

But now, make we allow OP to find better school for her kid(s) abeg.

If you want them to be taught morals, why enrol them in Nigerian schools of influence? What's the difference between the rich private schools in Abuja and average American high school in terms of morals?

Why not look for a good seminary school or military secondary school with quality education? There, they will get quality education and still get the morals.

I attended such a school and I can tell you that my excesses as a kid was tamed for good. I went there as naughty Junior and came back as disciplined Junior. grin

Thank you for your input sir. Can you give some examples of such schools in South West areas or in Abuja?

2 relations graduated from Trinity International College in Ofada, Ogun State. I believe over 90% of the graduating class in his year are all studying across universities in the US, UK and Canada. It seems the school grooms them for overseas education after completing high school. I might visit the school whenever I go to Nigeria for hols.
