The cacophony of posts and comments of Nigerians consoling themselves by mocking Hushpuppi's is to say the least hypocritical.

Hushpuppi is not responsible for your poverty

Hypocrisy is when you openly criticize someone for the very act you secretly commit.

70% of Nigerian youths if given the opportunity would surpass Hushpuppi's felony. I can bet that some of these ladies crucifying Hushpuppi wish they sat next to him dinning in those hotels even when his source of revenue wasn't crystal clear.

The holier than thou, sanctimonious facade Nigerians now wear over Huspuppi's controversy is sadly spurious. Someone said ,there are more Nigerians waiting to steal than the ones stealing now. I couldn't agree more.

If Hushpuppi's fall makes you feel good, then your attitudinal software needs to be edited.

I was never a fan of his flamboyant display of wealth .Moreso, when his revenue source was characterized with uncertainties.
Now that the breeze has blown and we have seen the anus of the fowl, let the accused have his day in court. Let the court of competent jurisdiction determine his culpability or innocence and stop massaging your moral and religious ego.

If found guilty, he will certainly dance to the music and face the retribution. One thing is sure, the legal procedure over there will not surreptitiously nail him.
