Yes my boss, I have been studying the machine and have a lot of administration for the possibilities one can get from using this, but some factors must be in place before one can arrange for it.

One of the factors is a flat, level land which must be relatively larger than the normal block industry space.

Second is a ready market for the blocks. The machine must be in a location where many buildings are going on at once so that demand will be sustained.

To strengthen these old structural members, we have to introduce new, bigger cylindrical columns at these points I marked with red.

Well done spyder880. I guess the introduced bigger cylindrical columns will run through the middle of the hall? If so, this makes structural sense as the introduced columns will also hold the roof given the width of the building. My wonder now is since the structure was built 35 years ago, how were the builders going to hold the roof from caving in with such rich width? Were they going to use steel props? Or in those days we have in the country straight ironwood with a good length long enough to span the with of the building?

This is a unique and interesting project. Following bumper to bumper.

Yes the cylindrical columns are planned to stand all the way along the middle of the hall and connect with the existing columns and beams. We also plan two new beams that will run across the width of the hall, especially on the stage area where we plan two new, wider columns.

I wonder what they planned before, there is none of the men who participated in that building I can talk to. I understand that they were not even educated, just good workmen that have building experience. I even heard this building may have been standing for nearly 40 years. Successive town councils couldn't complete this hall since the late 70s or early 80s because of lack of transparency.

What we did now is to drill into the old walls, create a space where we can insert new pillars, and do a concrete pad as base for the introduction of the new cylindrical columns.

From our inspection, we noted that there were a lot of this work that was done according to good engineering standards, even as far back as 35 years ago or more, a lot of care was taken to ensure that this building meets very high standards.
