There had been news making the rounds online and in various news media that the Chinese Doctors who were brought into the country recently have suddenly disappeared immediately after observing the mandatory 2-week quarantine which they embarked on, upon their arrival in the country. When asked of their whereabouts, the MOH said he's not aware...same man who went to receive them on behalf of the federal government for the purported purpose of teaching our medics how they contained covid-19 in their country, the decision which was sternly frowned at by the NMA with a threat to go on a nationwide strike, should the FG attempt to go ahead with the decision of bringing them in.

Recently, I've been to 3 different multinational companies, including their clinics and have seen at least, a chinese doctor( an entirely new face) who was in charge of compulsory covid-19 testing on visitors. As a visitor who intends to enter the multinational facilities, you must be subjected to covid-19 test before you're allowed in by these chinese. There's one of the multinational hospitals in Ikoyi where I was tested for covid-19 earlier this week by a chinese guy whose face I've never seen before as a regular visitor to the hospital before the covid-19 pandemic.

As an essential worker, I was in sagamu area of Ogun state for a meeting and I met another Chinese doing the same thing but a lady this time. This isn't a Chinese-owmed company. The Ikoyi hospital serves a Dutch-owned oil and gas company and their staff only while the sagamu facility does same. I was at Lekki area end of May and I observed same thing. I've come into a conclusion that the Chinese may have been employed by the Federal Govt for the purpose of protecting the expatriates who work in the critical assets of the country by carrying out tests on visitors to prevent them from contracting the virus.
