Musings on the Parable of the Talent

We should all be conscious of the fact that we will give account at the end of our lives.

We will give account of the little children entrusted in our care as parents.
We will give account of those employees that passed through our establishment.
We will give account of our employers and bosses who we worked under.
We will give account of those market women we patronized.
Basically, we will make account of everyone God pushed to our path.

Were we able to bring them closer to God or push them further from Heaven's gate?
Were we able to draw them to heaven by our honest lifestyles or hell through our cursed honeyned tongues.

Did we treat them with the utmost respect?
Did we pray for God to change their lives even when they seemed to fight us back?

No one will skip that day of accountability.
We will be audited by the heavenly KPMG and there is no bribing our way out of the process
There would be no "Madame, abeg" or "Bros, reason my mata abeg"
There would be no sugarcoating your ethical failures as they always have eternal reactions.

This is a clarion call for us.
Instead of seeking higher positions, we should be thoroughly focused on grooming the little flock under us.
We have to understand that the little counts more than the crowds.
Ravi Zacharias was led to Christ by a preacher who came to his hospital ward.
Many other fathers of faith were not won to the faith through huge crowd meetings.

Noo
God expects us to use our gifts to win souls to the kingdom
He expects us to utilize the gifts in healing rifts across the world- not aggravating them with gossip and flippant behaviours
God expects us to speak to others at their weary seasons and offer them His wealth
God expects us to offer the water of favour to those who are thirsty for open doors
God expects us to offer our shield to cover those being bashed in by the vicious crowds of life
God expects us to offer the keys to our kitchens so others can bake cakes like us (get results like us)
God expects academicians to offer knowledge without expecting pants or naira notes to drop in response
God expects so so much

I pray He strenghtens us to perform good works in Jesus name
