I spent very litle time with u(11 years) but I have showed the world that I have a great dad. I miss u, wish u didnt die early but still thank God for making me follow in ur footsteps. I love and miss u dad, but i cry when i think of alot of things we would have achieved together.

My Dad would often say "Agba ma'n jeun seku fun omode ni" (It means: no matter how hungry one is, an adult should always consider the kids first when eating together).

He lived his life based on this principle and many others. Sometimes, after dinner, we the kids often stay woke till he returns from work, because we know he would definitely share his meal with any child still awake... I mean, we always want to clear his tray. Lol

And, he never returns home empty handed. He would get even if it's a bread at least, or just any snack to munch. Mehn! i appreciate this particular gesture to the core... Makes me always look forward to his home coming.

Although, I'm a man now..., I still miss my Dad.

We shouldn't wait until father and mother's day to celebrate our parents, guardians, mentors, role models etc.
